Everything we do going forward goes out wide, and despite the volume of crosses into the box, no Pars player ever looks in danger of actually getting on the end of one. Shaw offers nothing different. We still need a target man as we don’t have the quality in wide areas to pick people out. It’s embarrassing. 1-0 down and there’s no fight or anyone providing any sort of quality to get us back in the game and we were lucky it wasn`t 3-0. We need to get this sorted. Author: wulliepar57 Date: Sat 22nd Aug 2026. 17:09 Well like others im totally deflated by the start to the season We all knew we didnt have quality in the final 3rd and today once again has proven it , we needed experience in that department if we were serious about mounting a challenge at the right end of the league 1 goal in 3 games is pretty naff ! Table pretty crap also we are sitting 8th with 2 points and this is all on our own merit ! Friday night we play our rivals who are already 5 points in front of us , lose Friday night make it 8 points , certainly hoping we can win on Friday night but im not confident we can take anything from the game , its goals that win games and we aint scoring at present , NL has now got a big job on his hand to get our season kick started I really thought we wojld be doing better than this And our bad habit from last season is back losing goals at HT and FT Reply |
| 97. Author: CAPar Date: Sat 22nd Aug 2026. 17:13 Shaw was completely anonymous and that`s been the case every time he`s played against anyone higher than League 1. How Morrison got 82min is beyond me. Tod wasn`t great but taking him and Bray off, who did reasonably well, before Morrison is a mystery. He can`t beat a man and when he doesn`t have honking first touch and put the ball out for a goal kick, his crosses never get beyond the front post. Thought Fraser was decent although both goals came from his side, and Oyirworth showed some good touches and looks promising. Reply |

Miles better performance from last week. Too nice on both boxes. We need to find an extra bit of power. Subs didn`t have the impact we wanted. We have to learn and adapt quickly.
