Lennon - we dominated foes and half. Dispute good play we didn`t score. Really disappointed we didn`t take chances. Miles better performance from last week. Too nice on both boxes. We need to find an extra bit of power. Subs didn`t have the impact we wanted. We have to learn and adapt quickly. You have to win games and we need to score goals and we aren`t doing it at the minute.

Snippets from BBC interview with Lenny.

Were no different to the previous 4 managers. Lennon has a much bigger budget and same result.

Lennon made 6 changes today and he needs to make 2 for Friday. Shaw and Morrison to drop out. Hope Turley is fit. 4 league games in and we are looking at a must win match…

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

It would be amazing to start the season on the front foot instead of playing catch-up. My feeling is we need to recruit some seasoned professionals to complement the young lads. The balance is a all off.

Second half performance was awful I’ve watched better football over the park on a Sunday. I could count on one hand how many touches Shaw had in that game. Late subs as usual. When it was obvious from the start of the second half we were miles of it.

Toothless on the final third.

Sick of hearing the same story from Lennon now. He doesn’t know his starting 11 and what formation to play. It’s all experimental in the hope something works.

He ain’t earning what we are paying him and that’s the reality at the minute, and when it starts going wrong we know how that ended up at Hibs.

every game is a must win nowadays.

"Too nice on both boxes. We need to find an extra bit of power. Subs didn`t have the impact we wanted."

find as in sign? not the first time hes gone on about that, good thing we have signed 11 players and not addressed it, add in the comments that were in the Courier yesterday about needing to find answers, maybe change formation, find the right line up etc, its ridiculous to be in this position after 8 competitive games.

so go in to today, another game, a different formation and system but still the same problems, all huff and no puff and far too easy to play against and none if it is a surprise. a squad of 27 players including the injured Connor Young (CitizenPar), there is not an 11 there in any system with far too many nowhere near good enough to play consistently at this level.

Some of the "seasoned professionals" we`ve signed in the past few years turned out to be total duds ( Wanyama for example, Wotherspoon) and a few others I could name.

The transfer business has been dreadful. We never get it right. The writing is already on the wall, league challenge forget about it.

Why can’t we sign quality experienced players?

Thought first half we played really well, had some chances although not clinical enough.

Oyirworth again looked really good, Morrison first half was good, thought Bray was really good, defensively we looked good - really didn’t see much wrong to be honest.

Think the goal from Livvy was the one shot on target they had that half, such a sucker punch.

Second half Oyirworth could have scored early but after that the game just petered out a bit and Livvy had a bit more control, in the end we were fortunate it only finished 2-0.

Morrison was a totally different player second half, you could be forgiven for thinking Shaw didn’t play today, so anonymous. Tod yet again a waste of a jersey. Subs didn’t work.

Nice finish for their second.

Agreed. I was thinking before todays game it was borderline being a must win game and now Friday definitely is.

First 20-30 minutes it looked like a really positive response to last week`s garbage. We were urgent and positive without creating too many clear cut chances. Then we lose a goal on half time and look drained of belief and energy the rest of the game.

No point in singling out names of players for criticism because there are plenty who are not performing to their standards and everyone has a different opinion on who`s played ok and who contributing nothing. So in this case I think the buck stops with the management and coaching staff. Too many changes suggests NL doesn`t know what the solution is. Being `one week behind` starts to lose credibility if you`re still making wholesale changes to tactics and personnel after 8 games and coming away with another Pars nil performance.

And for all the criticism of our forwards (often justified) the quality of our passing/crossing into the box is terrible. On the surface it looks fine as we are in promising positions and a ball goes in but the quality is gash. I can`t think of a cross that didn`t hit the first man or go wafting away to the back post. Often it seems they don`t even look, it just gets played somewhere in the general direction of the box. It`s not picking out a target so unless we get lucky it produces nothing.

Their first goal came from a guy who, despite 3 Pars players in his face, just seemed to drop a shoulder and give himself tonnes of time and space for a nice curling finish. Compare that to us and we`ve got players in similar positions on the edge of the box who do well to hit the stand.

Only 3 league games in and we`ve played a couple of title/playoff contenders so definitely not panic stations. We play sporadic passages of decent stuff albeit with no end product yet so signs we can do it.

No doubt we`ll gub the rovers and all will be forgotten. COYP

…..brushed aside & beaten rather easily in the end.

Not convinced by the new signings. Think we will struggle this season.

You’ve seen the Pars now please go home!

Yes we`ve been poor and we need to improve quickly, but 4th game of the season a "must win"? Panicking nonsense.

A comparison to last season
Morton 0 Pars 0, Pars 2 Airdrie 0, Raith 2 Pars 0, and game 4 was Pars 2 Ross County 2

5 points from first 4 games , beat Raith and it,s the same

It’s a must win to kick start our season and give the team some confidence that seems to be lacking just now. “ Fortress EEP “. !?

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

It`s very early to judge but the `big push` transfer wise that was expected in the summer has been a bit of a disappointment so far.

Who have we brought in who is better that what we had last season? So far prob only Allan who looks better than Tash.

The rest look the same or worse from a team who had a good 2nd half of the season just to finish 4th. We’ll still relying on Abdulai and Kane by the looks of it.

If previous seasons are anything to go by we’ll beat rovers then slip back to old ways for a couple of games…then trundle on.

Lenny might just to drop he who shall not be named, this isn’t a league you can carry passengers.

Lennon bringing the mighty Dunfermline nil back 🫣
