| 1. Author: Buster_Brown Date: Sat 12th Sep 2026. 22:14 Another 90 minutes of almost complete silence at East End today. I’m not having a go at anyone in particular because I’m as guilty as the next person, but the atmosphere just seems to have completely disappeared. Everything feels a bit flat and I’m not really sure why, especially when we’ve actually got a team on the park that’s giving us plenty to be excited about. So, genuine question, what can we as supporters, or the club, actually do to bring a vibrant atmosphere back to East End? Loving You, Is In My DNA Reply |

We’re playing a team we’re expected to beat and went 2-0 up after half an hour and in full control of the game. It’s often the case the atmosphere is better when the game is in the balance and there are late barrages on goal but today was not going to be one of them. The lack of young fans, and the drum for the second home game in a row didn’t help either. It might annoy people but a bit of noise and singing must get through to the players. If that’s what is attractive to these people at the big games, then I’d prefer they stayed away. If they can’t support the team every week, then don’t bother turning up with the sole purpose of causing bother at the “big” games. | 14. Author: Roger Daltrey Date: Sun 13th Sep 2026. 08:27 It`s a bit bizarre grown men falling over themselves to claim they are `better fans` than the 14 year olds in the NW. The OP stated the atmosphere has gone flat this season. It is pretty clear that is because we no longer have the 100 or so dafties that jumped about creating that atmosphere. Whether that`s because we now have found a way to charge them properly, a result of what was becoming a bit heavy handed stewarding or simply because, as so many people on this thread are keen to point out, they aren`t `real fans` and only come along for the big games. Regardless, their absence is the reason the atmosphere has declined. I mean, fair play to us all for `cheering the goals and clapping the team off at half time` 😳 Unfortunately, that doesn`t really go very far in creating much of an overall atmosphere. Some clubs seem to be good at encouraging the younger fans to build the noisy support that creates a better atmosphere. Since Jason stopped being the figurehead of SNW, we seem to be doing the opposite. Even on this thread it`s clear a few `real fans` would rather the youngsters stayed away. Which I find quite sad. | 15. Author: KirklistonPar Date: Sun 13th Sep 2026. 08:37 The atmosphere has been a little flat at a few games this season. Yesterdays game was lacking to. As good as the football was in the first half it wasn’t very competitive. QP didn’t bring much to game and would have been happy to go in at halftime nil nil. Obviously that didn’t happen and I’m sure all Pars fans were expressing their appreciation for some of the great play and our two goals. Atmosphere is created through what happens on the pitch and both teams add to it. Tackles flying in, shots on goal, officials making mistakes, great passes and saves. But it needs to from both sides. QP offered very little and I think I heard their supporters signing once. Hopefully we can get a few more victories and that will bring some more of the fans back that add to the atmosphere. Reply |

All of which have their “ultras” at games week in, week out. It’s all about supporting your team, and the Section North West only seem interested in the bigger games. If all they’re interested in is damaging the stadium and causing trouble, then do we really want that at EEP? This is Andy Tod`s world and we are lucky to live in it. Reply |

I don`t accept that. Every group has @rseholes and I do accept that a minority of them take it too far. But loads of the young lads are proper Pars fans and just want to create an atmosphere and have a day out with their pals. Your characterisation of the whole group as trouble makers is problematic and clouding your judgement on the situation. Reply |

Done the club for thousands of pounds in fraudulent ticket purchases and damage to seats. Bring in smoke bombs and flash bangs at every derby. Wish the club would do more to get them at every game and cause more unwanted costs! Reply |
