Guess they should just move from their usual seats when the disallowed flares are thrown. The smoke and the smell is all around the ground when they’re set off. You’ve obviously never seen the results of a flare in someone’s eyes and face either. It’s utterly devastating (and it HAS happened at the club (and at Starks too by Rovers fans). The flares and smoke bombs provide zero atmosphere. The players instinctively run to that section because of the enthusiasm and noise. I’ve typed a description of the atmosphere there many a time. If we could just stop the flares and the seat destruction (I’d imagine that’s usually just after a loss [not that that’s an excuse]) and an organised display in conjunction with the club it could be better for everyone who sits there? And I’m with twin par. The main stand is just like every other stand. We might be a wee bit farther from the pitch but we are just as noisy, with sweary words and singing emanating from most sections. ”Buffy’s Buns are the finest in Fife”, J. Author: LochgellyAlbert Date: Sun 13th Sep 2026. 23:56 Stood for many years on the half way line jousting with the opposition supporters, even causing havoc when they tried to change ends at half time. Unfortunately the club then erected the cage to try and restore some peace, thus reducing some of the atmosphere. We were only moved when the OF came to visit due to being heavily outnumbered. One week we would sing the "sash" the next time we would sing " we`re off to Dublin in the green " we really couldn`t care less. Now after supporting the Pars for 66yrs I am in the Norrie, watching the "Ultras" trying to create some atmosphere, they`ve got it easy due to segregation, I`ve just got great memories!🤔🏁🏁🏁 Reply |

Atmosphere non-existent for Ayr and QP, the Ayr game was a tight, tense affair the type of game that should create a bit of an atmosphere. I think it`s the beginning of the end for these groups, if they can`t police themselves, then clubs will have to start clamping down as they can`t afford the punishments or compo to other clubs. Motherwell put out a statement before their last Euro game, telling the fans to pack it in, they had already cost them 6 figures in fines and compensation to repair damage. The "Bois" ignored it. Author: Sacktheref69 Date: Mon 14th Sep 2026. 17:51 It’s possible to create an atmosphere without setting off pyro, damaging your own stadium at your club’s expense, or throwing things at a player who celebrates in front of you after you’ve constantly been calling him a paedo. We can’t fall into the trap of accepting antisocial behaviour just because it’s accompanied by a few songs and a drum. You can create a great atmosphere without behaving like a wee ned. And the fact they only seem to turn up for the big games and cause bother makes me question whether they even support the Pars. This is Andy Tod`s world and we are lucky to live in it. Reply |
