42. Author: Ahoy!Ahoy! Date: Sat 17th Oct 2026. 17:20 We better hope Olly Thomas gets up to speed quick and Kane is available sooner rather than later. Why did Adams run in to the defender and try pass? Get the shot away. Thought we were brilliant all over the pitch today and dominated Livi but in the final third we are shocking. Reply

Author: Bamba-Daft Date: Sat 17th Oct 2026. 17:38 shellypar, Sat 17 Oct 17:13 The most heavily backed manager for over 20 years and were no better than mid table jobbers. 7 goals in 9 games is relegation form and folk are still talking about winning the league. If he doesn’t start picking up wins very soon he should get the punt. Reply |
45. Author: Raymie the Legend Date: Sat 17th Oct 2026. 17:39 Some good play up to the final third and then we seem to lose our way. Cooper should be bursting the net first half. Second half, for all of our possession, we never worked the keeper. Someone said Livi never threatened. Well I must have watched a different game. Abdulai made two great blocks and Muirhead came close twice in the second half. ![]() It`s bloody tough being a legend Ron Atkinson - 1983 Reply

48. Author: ipswichpar Date: Sat 17th Oct 2026. 17:48 Dandy Warhol, Sat 17 Oct 17:40 Calm down petal. We are winning more than we lose and scoring more than we concede. In our last 6 games we have won 3 and drawn 3. That`s not bottom 3 form. Reply
49. Author: Jeffery Date: Sat 17th Oct 2026. 17:55 Livi could easily have won that but for some good work at the back. They sat in but we`re far more incisive than us when they broke out. We seem to wait until the opponents are set defensively, then trying to play 40 passes and roll it into the net. Really disappointed we didn`t really force a decent save from Prior. A few really questionable subs or non subs there. Looking forward to the post match interview once again. Hopefully there has been some soul searching but I doubt it. Reply

| 51. Author: Berkey Date: Sat 17th Oct 2026. 18:01 Ipswich that’s with us playing “well”. We need to change something up top. Lenny seems stuck to Adam’s and the very much ineffective Tod supporting, 2 players who look like league 1 players so far this season as the goal and general play return is showing. Not sure how we turn it round with what we have at the moment, would you trust Lennon to fix it in the Jan window when he doesn’t seem to trust shaw to start who was our marquee summer striker. | 52. Author: NMCmassive Date: Sat 17th Oct 2026. 18:10 Don’t shoot and you won’t score. We’ve proved that brilliantly today! Also I don’t think playing Bray and MacLeod together, do enough. To similar and both turn in field and play back to often. Andy Tod when he doesn’t score offers nothing. He really doesn’t do enough which is frustrating cos I think he’s more than capable. Head was in the clouds today though. I hope Harding is okay, he was playing really well today. Abdullai outstanding again. COYP Reply |

54. Author: Indiapar1 Date: Sat 17th Oct 2026. 18:15 Our problem is the forwards in my view. Defence and midfield look good. Livi are a big side and we thought they sat back 2nd half and only looked to really hit us on the break. When we played through their back two we had a bit of success. We are no threat from corners or free kicks which are part of the game. We didn`t knock the ball down the channels enough for players to run on to. They looked vulnerable when our central defenders went forward as they expected us to go wide all the time. We didn`t hold the ball up enough in forward positions and I thought we could have dome better with getting second balls from their big central defender. Livi are no better than us, and neither are PT. we just have to find a way to win these types of games. G Wardrope Post Edited (Sat 17 Oct 18:37) Reply
55. Author: KirklistonPar Date: Sat 17th Oct 2026. 18:17 Another game we should have won. When are we gonna get a break. The amount of chances we’re having is good. The coaching staff and management must be wondering what the hell is going on. We played best when we were running at their defence. Fingers crossed we can get the ball in the back of the net in Tuesday night. Reply
56. Author: Rusty Shackleford Date: Sat 17th Oct 2026. 18:18 The back 6 (including Amade) are league- winning material but we`ve so little up front coupled with some poor choices/poor luck/ lack of confidence. Hopefully it`ll turn soon but at the moment it`s looking like a battle for play offs. Plenty time still. Reply
57. Author: ipswichpar Date: Sat 17th Oct 2026. 18:21 Berkey, I think Kane is on a different level to most of the others in terms of finishing so it is unfortunate that injuries/father time might be starting to catch up with him. Shaw has 3 in 10 in a team that`s not offering a huge amount up front so hopefully that will click soon. Last season`s Tod is a big miss too so hopefully we`ll get him back soon too. I`m not really on the page with "we`re playing well but not up top". If it`s not all working end to end then we`re not playing well. I think there are signs of improvement, and if we can get the final third sorted we have the opportunity to kick on. Reply

59. Author: ipswichpar Date: Sat 17th Oct 2026. 18:33 I think when I looked at half-time the BBC were reporting 4 shots, with 3 on target. End of the game... 8 shots, 3 on target. Didn`t we have any shots on target in the second half?!? Reply
