| 83. Author: Paralex Date: Sat 17th Oct 2026. 21:09 On the positive side, Nurudeen Abdulai was exceptional today. The man is an absolute rock of a defender, great in the air and superb with the ball at his feet. Reply |

We`ve hit a rough patch recently, but we`re still within touching distance of the playoffs, with more than enough games left to turn things around and improve our position. There`s absolutely no need to panic just yet. The "size of our fan base" argument always makes me chuckle. Just because we get a decent crowd doesn`t mean we`re entitled to be higher up the table than our results warrant. League positions are earned through winning games, not through attendances. We`re still in the mix, with nobody pulling away and putting themselves out of reach. This is Andy Tod`s world and we are lucky to live in it. Reply |
| 85. Author: Berkey Date: Sat 17th Oct 2026. 21:20 Agree on the size of the club having no impact, but what does have an impact is the playing budget. The budget must be close to double what previous managers have had to work with and after 11 games the best we can do is 4th. Yes plenty time for the strikers to show they can cut it and go on a run etc but at this point we’re moving into under achieving. We’re only beaten one top 8 team in 7 attempts so far. | 89. Author: CrossPar Date: Sat 17th Oct 2026. 23:09 Some points to bear in mind:- 1.We have a much stronger squad than last year. 2. The football is far more enjoyable to watch than we have witnessed for a considerable amount of years. 3.Lennon is the best manager we have had for quite a number of years. 4. We recently played in a cup final. 5. We have a number of really good young players who will have good careers and could make the club a lot of money. 6. It is only October. So while we have not clicked into top gear yet, some of the doom and gloom on here is ridiculous. Reply |

| 92. Author: Bertie Paton Date: Sun 18th Oct 2026. 00:17 Some really good players in this team but let down by the forward set-up. Pitty we are spending a fortune on a manager who is massively overrated when there`s better managers out there at half the price. Reply |
| 93. Author: WYPar Date: Sun 18th Oct 2026. 00:44 Another game with a familiar story. The good thing is we look pretty solid at the back. Nuru, SCH and Lobban are consistently very good, Amade does a good job supporting the defence as well. We just need something to click up top, obviously. Adams is clearly not the answer. He’s just not offering a threat. And Tod is wasted out wide left. Constantly gets the ball, just runs at the full back and, at best, wins a throw in when they dispossess him easily. It’s not his position though. He’s clearly struggling playing there. Lennon needs to mix it up a bit to find the right combination and make us more clinical. Reply |
