An abortion is a medical procedure that ends a pregnancy by removing or expelling the embryo or foetus. It can be performed using medicine or surgery. I fully and completely understand the medical aspects etc. For some/many it is a convenient "get out of jail card" subsequent to their inability to prevent conception.
