I`ve often wondered about the demographics of a Wimbledon Final crowd. Yesterday a popped champagne cork landed on the Centre Court during play apparently!

The demographics outside of a Wimbledon final will differ dramatically from most other days for sure due to ticket prices. I have been to Wimbledon quarter finals and it is a fabulous sporting event, but would love to get to a final or to the earlier rounds.
Quite addictive to be there and always apply each year for the public ballot.

Eck, it`s partly due to the fact you`re allowed to bring your own fizz into the ground. I was popping Tesco Prosecco 😂

I wonder how much a centre court ticket was and for what ?
Women getting the same prize money as men, I believe?
I wonder if Wimbledon will be regretting that decision ?

My men`s final ticket last year was £250 or so from memory so I`d imagine that ballpark.

How did you get a ticket for the final Rusty?
Was it in the ballot?

I`ve had a few offers of tickets as I`m a member of an LTA affiliated club and each one gets a wee allocation so your chances are decent but remarkably the men`s final last year was in the public ballot. I nearly died with excitement when the email came through. Don`t even want to think about my odds. It was the experience of a lifetime for sure.

My brother took my mum for her 80th to the opening day. £60 for centre court all day. He got lucky in the ballot. Said it was tremendous.
