We should beat Wales , and Ireland look easier than they have for a long time. We need the bonus v Wales. I can`t see us beating France, but I couldn`t see the Pars beating Hibs. It is all to play for. Knowing us, we will beat France and Ireland but lose to Wales. Reply |
| 3. Author: Dave_1885 Date: Sun 15th Feb 2026. 11:18 Think we need to win all 3 with BPs and avoid them getting any BPs to have a small chance, so cant see it happening. By all accounts nobody predicted yesterdays result either. Reply |
| 4. Author: NMCmassive Date: Sun 15th Feb 2026. 11:50 Well it’s gave us a chance. Thought our forwards were excellent. Helps having Finn Russell though, brings a bit of class when it’s needed. I’m still questioning GT’s squad selection. The back 3 seems everywhere 🤷🏻♂️ COYP Reply |

| 6. Author: wee eck Date: Sun 15th Feb 2026. 12:42 It`s always been hard for Scotland to win the Triple Crown, far less the Championship or a Grand Slam. Rugby going professional has probably made it even harder. For all the criticism of Townsend he`s made Scotland better to watch and more entertaining. They can now score from all areas of the pitch. Not so long ago they could be camped 5 yards from the try line and you knew they were never going to score. Reply |
| 7. Author: NMCmassive Date: Mon 16th Feb 2026. 00:32 We’ve literally won nothing with the best squad of players since the 80’s. There’s reasons folk are questioning Gregor Townsend COYP Reply |

We lost to Italy before winning this year’s one……..going to now have to win everything by some margin to have a slim hope of the title. Reply |

| 12. Author: Jimmy riddell Date: Mon 16th Feb 2026. 19:33 Despite having the best squad in recent years since the start of the 6 Nations I don’t think we’ve ever finished better than third. We need to back up Saturday’s excellent result with a convincing win in Cardiff. Although we’ve beaten Wales the last twice we’ve squandered big leads and held on grimly at the end. Reply |

Author: Dave_1885 Date: Tue 17th Feb 2026. 11:10 NMCmassive, Mon 16 Feb 22:03 Too young to remember 1990, but 1999 is always a great memory, especially being brought up playing rugby and getting to touch the trophy. That and the 2000 Calcutta Cup will always be a cherished memory. Townshend has squandered a golden generation though and should have won at least 1x 6 Nations in this time. Reply |
| 15. Author: PARrot Date: Tue 17th Feb 2026. 11:36 Yes we have the best squad for eons, but unfortunately so have others. Ireland literally being best in the world. It`s a bit like Andy Murray turning up while Federer, Nadal and Jokivic (sp) were running the show. Reply |

| 20. Author: Dave_1885 Date: Sat 21st Feb 2026. 17:53 Night and day from last week which is why we will never win 6 Nations any time soon. Get Gregor in the bin, he’s had his chance time and time again and blown it. Wales have won 2 in their last 25 games…..sums it up Reply |
