Parboiled, Sun 24 Mar 12:23

The greatest injustice was men getting their pension five years later than women, despite living on average five years less.
As for the WASPI’s saying they were stung..as a mere male I knew all about these
changes so why not them?

I am sure the Ombudsman would be interested in how you knew about the age equalisation as in the report he states the changes were not communicated properly?

Sunak saying vote Tory and he will keep the triple lock

Lord Willetts, a former Tory MP, told i the lock, introduced in 2010, was “funded by the speeding up of the pension age”.

He said the Government decided to bring forward the increase in the state pension age for women to help pay for the policy, adding the “precedent and evidence so far” indicates that keeping the triple lock makes it likely the retirement age could be increased further.

This means it may have to rise to 68, sooner than 2044, its current estimated increase. It will rise to 67 by the end of this decade.

Age was increased so Osbourne could rake in the subsequent proceeds, he even admitted it in one of his speeches!

It will rise as long as life expectancy rises. In a twist of fate, it`s the toffs in the south east who will get more out of this "benefit" than some poor person in Glasgow due to the vast difference in life expectancy. I haven`t looked recently but I don`t think 68 is too far off the average male life expectancy in parts of Glasgow.

Just checked and average life expectancy in Calton is 67.8 years!

They have been shat on and all these labour, liberal, and tory politicians who promised support will need to justify these fibs at the GE.

An explanation of how the NI fund went down the plughole!🤬

https://davidhencke.com/2018/06/05/the-downing-street-state-pension-robbery/

But still had enough money to pay MALES their NI contributions if they stopped working at 60yrs of age!

This was the way that Thatcher fiddled the unemployment figures!

And this is why you can`t trust Labour at all. They will always be a UK party first. It`s a real shame as they have some solid MSPs.

Whenever Labour get the opportunity to do what is right, they either vote against it, or abstain. I voted Labour for the first 20 years I had a vote, but this is the reason I couldn`t bring myself to vote for them again. They are the Red Wing of the Tory Party

LA, Jackie Baillie is positively svelte compared to some of the SNP heavyweights heaving themselves about in Westminster and Holyrood!

If part of Labour`s campaign was to improve public faith in politicians then they have failed badly. These pictures of Starmer and Kendall, when they were in opposition, supporting the campaign of the WASPI women have not worn well.

Meanwhile 9.8 million MALES had their national insurance paid from age 60 to 65 by the UK government to fiddle the unemployment figures!

This decision will be one of Labour`s biggest fails, what is the point of the Parliamentary Ombudsman?

Labour are despicable. Imagine having voted for these cretins…..When will we ever learn ? It does not matter who is in power at WM they are all a bunch of arrogant, self righteous, incompetent, crooked, bare faced liars.

We deserve everything we get though as a nation for being so utterly gullible…

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Labour have blown it in barely 6 months. The only party left that will put Scotland first is the SNP.

2026 could be the year.
