I like him. As far as the elections this year go I think in Scotland if you want an alternative to the current gang in Edinburgh then Reform are the choice. But Mr Lowe and his party are ones to watch for the GE.

Jesus wept!

Reform are certainly an alternative but not a good one!

How is Lowe any different to the current numpties in Westminster? Didn`t he claim an MND charity boat race was immigrants invading? The guy who wants to reclaim "Christian values" in a country where churches are closing faster than the pubs?

The idiot wants to get rid of the Scottish Government too so that would mean pretty much the entire civil service being run from London again and Scotland being dragged down by policies intended for England (London).

90% of Tory MPs were said to be to the left of the average Labour voter, Farage in truth seems little more than a Milquetoast centrist compared to the average Reform voter.

If we see a Lib-Lab-Green pact at the election, Farage will have no choice but to engage with other right of centre parties in response.

I think Lowe`s party already polling at 10% is probably pretty acurate.

I happen to think Scotland was a better place to be before devolution so I agree with Rupert on that. I won`t bother listing the scandal coming out that gang hut in Holyrood. It`s for all to see, for those who want to see it.

However I do believe in this saying. "If you keep doing what you`ve always done, you`ll keep getting what you`ve always gotten"

Scotland has regressed. Big time. We need change.

Hang on ..you don`t believe in the status quo so want to go back to how things were in the past? 🤔

Going back to a UK model would be awful and would only push more people towards independence.

So we shall stick with this useless mob for time immemorial aye? I think its quite clear and has been for some time Scotland prefers to be in the Union. If the pro Indy agenda come about again then that`s something to look at..at that point. This country needs a major change of direction right now. The status quo ain`t it.

Why do you see “them” as a useless mob?

`So we shall stick with this useless mob for time immemorial aye? I think its quite clear and has been for some time Scotland prefers to be in the Union.`

Isn`t there a contradiction there if an electorate that prefers to be in the Union `sticks with` a government that favours independence and has no desire to abandon devolution? Also, the UK government favours devolution being granted to the regions south of the border so it would be perverse to deny it to Scotland, Wales and N Ireland.

I imagine a lot of voters throughout the UK would describe recent Westminster governments as `useless mobs` so where does that leave us?

We can`t with a revolution. Westminster says no.

So you want Scotland to be more like England? So higher unemployment, longer a&e wait times, students in perpetual debt, poorer dentistry, extensive local authority service cuts...

As we`ve seen at a UK national level, the country is going down the swanny regardless of who is in charge. At least in Scotland we have Holyrood to offer some protection from Westminster stupidity. Unfortunately, we are still impacted by piss poor policy from London.

If the Reform mob get elected to Westminster in 2029 Holyrood will be closed by 2031

I only ever really hear about Reform in relation to immigration and, being the son of an immigrant, a lot of that doesn`t sit well with me. What other policies do they have that might get me to swing their way? Just being an alternative isn`t enough.

They want to lower the minimum wage to encourage more youngster in to work.

Also they will increase tax free limit on wages to 20%.

Along with slowly privatising the NHS and removing Holyrood, but they keep those ones quiet.

87par has to be trolling. Nobody can be that thick and ignorant surely ?

If He/She really wants change, significant change, then voting for parties that are controlled by the invisible and powerful elite is not going to change a single thing.

The only significant change Scotland can get is by becoming an independent country…

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

I think a lot of the problems is the use of the word immigrant. If people from other countries want to come over and work/pay their way and help the economy then that’s great and I hope they live many years in Britain.
It’s the Illegal immigrants that have come over and getting put up in hotels etc that is annoying British hard working people imo. It’s the billions that have been spent on them getting housed/healthcare and benefits and our own British people are struggling.
But to be honest I think the government has broken Britain and it can’t be fixed and there will be civil unrest on the streets in a years time between gangs/religions.
I like what Rupert Lowe/Farage has to say but the whole lot of them and that includes that wee rocket Starmer are all liars. Mind you the Tory lass is a good watch when she tears Starmer apart in the commons.
As for SNP I think it will take a full overhaul getting rid off the deadwood after what Nippy Nicky and her husband did.

Plus the investigation into the Pakistani rape gangs against young white woman getting thrown out of parliament…just says it all with this government.
