64. Author: McCaig`s Tower Date: Sun 19th Jul 2026. 20:58 I`ve seen it said that the £5m could be treated as "disguised remuneration" and would therefore be subject to tax, which would presumably lead to tax bills for both Farage and Reform UK Limited. Nominations have closed with 34 candidates standing - no-one called Corbyn but 3 Raving Loonies, and several other inveterate by-election candidates. It looks a little farcical. I think Laurence Fox was "Lewis" not Morse - I used to enjoy that programme - I confess it`s harder to watch having heard the actor`s pronouncements. Is it possible to divorce appreciation of artistic talent or performance from the artist`s personal life or views? Reply

67. Author: NMCmassive Date: Sun 19th Jul 2026. 21:25 McCaig`s Tower, Sun 19 Jul 20:58 I actually think both the Tories and Labour have done themselves out of one. Given all his bad press recently, he could have been there for the taking but also-they’re giving free press to other smaller parties who will gain media coverage they otherwise wouldn’t have gotten. Worst case scenario-Nigel beats them on his home turf. No biggie in the scheme of it IMO COYP Reply

74. Author: The One Who Knocks Date: Sat 25th Jul 2026. 21:38 Richard Tice being investigated by the police for some sort of possible dodgy financing of Reform by some convicted fraudster. For a layman like myself it`s a bit too convoluted for me to get a proper handle on it as opposed to the £5 million that Farage was given from a foreign based crypto billionaire. A lot easier to understand what was going on with that. And although my eyes were open They just might as well be closed Reply
75. Author: Wotsit Date: Sun 26th Jul 2026. 11:55 The convicted fraudster ("Posh" George Cottrell) who was, at the time, repeatedly photographed by Farage`s side`s mother (Fiona Cottrell) gave £1 million to one of Richard Tice (who was, at the time, Chair of Reform UK Ltd)`s companies "Britain Means Business" half of which Tice subsequently donated to Reform UK Ltd. What`s convoluted or confusing about that TOWK? :D Anyway, it was flagged as suspicious for some reason and, as it is illegal in the UK to attempt to hide the true source of a political donation, the police have become involved. Apparently George and his mum have been interviewed under caution. “The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.” Reply
76. Author: The One Who Knocks Date: Thu 30th Jul 2026. 12:53 It`s becoming clearer now Wotsit as it`s been reported that the mother of convicted fraudster, George Cottrell was transferred £2m by her son just before made a seven figure donation to the company owned by Tice. I`m sure convicted fraudster Cottrell just had the nations best interests at heart when he made those donations though just like the Nigel Farage had when he took five million quid from a foreign based crypto billionaire. And although my eyes were open They just might as well be closed Reply
