So we are nearing the last chance saloon in terms of achieving the possible safe haven of 8th place. We are in bother and on current form could finish 10th.

Never felt so down with the club in general as I do now, but as football fans we always live in hope.

So the team to get a result on Saturday, I would go with

Tobi

Conrie if fit
Mullen
Fogarty
Ngwemya

Stevens
Otoo
Taylor Clark
Ohalloran if fit

Young
Kane

Take a seat Weatherspoon, Yeboah, Todd, Benedictus, Hamilton, MCcann, Oakley Booth.

Those not listed have burnt their bridges for me and even some of the starters I hope are nowhere near us next season but I am sick and tired of watching the same charlatans serve up the same rancid crap week after week.

To be honest even typing these names out is under whelming.

I’d agree

Tobi

Comrie
Mullen
Fogarty
Ngwenya

MOH
Otoo
Oakley
Stevens

Young
Kane

I don’t want to see Bene, Wotherspoon, Hammy, McCann or Chalmers anywhere near the squad.

Bene for me slows it down far too much bath back and I’d prefer Forgarty/Mullen partnership.

It’s funny. Some are saying we have brought in inexperienced players for a relegation fight and then we see some calling for the experienced players we do have to be given the heave-ho.

Not a popular opinion but Chalmers in midfield last night would at least have lifted his head and passed to a member of the same team, a feat seemingly beyond most.

Fogarty is no better on the ball than Benedictus from what i`ve seen.

Morton are going to be like a slightly less good version of Livingston. It`s going to be a battle; corners, throw ins launched in and all the rest. Defo wanna the captain in there IMO.

Raymie i assume like me many are wanting the experienced players dropped as they aren’t performing, they are miles off it.

Something needs to change and it’s the usual names who seem to be guaranteed starters that need to go.

You can’t drop them all. We need a blend of both.
It doesn’t help that we have so many players unavailable and have let others go out on loan.

Well not long ago it was suggested MOH was just here to pick up a wage, unfavourable comparisons were made between JC-M and Fogarty and you have suggested Chalmers should be brought in, possibly the most vilified man in the squad. I`m not suggesting these changes shouldn`t be made, just pointing out how fickle fans can be. Personally, I might consider bringing Clay back to add a bit of dig in midfield.

That`s only accurate if it`s the same posters saying one thing - and then saying the other further down the line.

Fair enough, the jury might be split on Fogarty and Chalmers but I don`t recall MOH having many supporters until MT gave him a few minutes recently.

Both things can be true no?

I could be at work and not good enough to really be in post, but if the company desperately needs someone and no one else is available as the intern is no real use, then I’ll likely be called on

The problem is we`re all hoping for an improvement in performances and results from when these guys were more active in the squad.

It seemed to me that MOH has looked more committed and dangerous coming on for Tidser than he did under McPake. I`d be happy if he started MOH and Stevens in wide positions.

Comrie has to play if he`s fit. Mullen and Bene were left massively exposed by the full backs last night on a few occasions (although some of them were caused by them losing the ball when they were near to being the last man).

I`m really hoping Kane is OK to play. Whoever starts it`ll be a battle against Morton and I`d want to have his physicality and experience up front.

My picks for Saturday:

Tobi

Comrie*

Stevens
Otoo
Clay
MOH

Kane*
C young

*if fit.

Manager: Lanza John
Tactics: get the ball forward quickly, win second balls and play in their half.

No idea how everyone still puts otoo in there? Quite frankly he’s had a crap season so far. More disappointing as we really needed him to kick on.

Connor young to start and what’s the point with the rest, the team almost picks itself looking at the personnel available.

Secretly hoping we can sort out a loan or 2 tomorrow.

Totally agree on Otoo. Gets a free pass every week. Doesn’t do enough in middle for me.

This is an absolute must win. As I can’t see us getting much from the 4 after it . Need a reaction from players but the manager needs a good look at himself too. If he’s stubborn and won’t change then it’ll be league one again

The worrying thing is we don`t even look capable of scoring. Everyone else seems to be finding a way to grind out results required where we struggle to get out our own half.

c'mon the pars
