I think it should be written off as a foolish appointment by the new owners. Paying him up will be cheaper than relegation. Give it to Lanza John until the end of the season or ask Murray to come in right away.

Absolutely the wrong appointment and well out his depth but sadly he won’t be going anywhere. I aould have preferred McCabe or Murray.

I can’t believe we managed to get a worse manager in than McPake. It’s demoralising how we always seem to make the wrong decisions when it matters. If we somehow stay up, it’ll be a miracle and if we do manage, will we be successful in the transfer market?

The standard of football is brutal, well out his depth here, this tippy tappy stuff is sore on the eye, and don’t get me started on the final third, our lack of goals is a worry, even more is we need to learn to shoot to score them.

He persists playing a style of play that is going to cost this club another relegation. Mr Cook has a hand in this as well, another that should be out the door.

Only fan power can force change, our club needs changes at the top and in the dressing room.

It would be an interesting discussion with Mr Cook to hear what his criteria is when appointing a new manager as he seems to have made a balls up of it up to now. there does,nt seem to be any interview procedure we just pluck a name from nowhere.

I don’t like seeing a manager sacked this early in his tenure but he needs to change style of football if he’s staying or we’re doomed. I gave up after Hamilton debacle couple of weeks ago and had no inclination for to go yesterday whatsoever, even though I was available. I’m not sure if I’ll be back this season, I’ve always believed since 1st August we would get relegated this season. Got my hopes up in January with new owners/management and transfer window signings, that’s all evaporated now. Keep going this way and Airdrie will rightly catch us.

Going by family sites and socials he`s already lost the majority of fans.
The dire football.
The "philosophy" over fight.
The throwing players under the bus.
The arrogance despite brutal performances.
All common themes throughout, it honestly sounds like he`s done already.

I don`t wanna go down like disco.

Can’t see myself continuing to attend games much longer until he is gone. I won’t be the only one either.

The club aren`t about to pay off a 2 year contract after a few weeks.

For me the key issue is a lack of belief. We get to that final third and then look clueless.

The other is us not going for it. Too cautious and reserved. Some of the player choices are odd too.

Yep, I`m Tidser out already. It`s not the fact we got beat off the team that are going to wind up Champions, rather it was another inept display which has been common in every single one of the games he has managed, out-with the Stenny game. Even the wins were reliant on Kane stepping up rather than Tidser master-classing a tactical turn of events. He is way out his depth. He thinks he is managing a youth team and trying to "play the right way" I would have expected that possibly from JMcL, but he is the only man that has had us playing well this season, and I was disappointed that he never wanted to take it on until the end of the season. If St Mirren can do it with Stubbs, so can we. We are sleep walking in to League 1.

As for our style of play? At least 95% of our possession takes place in our own half. Hopeless. No ideas in the final third, static players too scared to attempt anything to progress us (other than JCM tbh) and no clue on how to get wins/draws when we are chasing a game. We are relying on Stevens and Kane coming up with moments to get us goals, and never look like scoring from passages of play or anything that isn`t a jammy deflection, penalty kick, or any other set piece. It is a damning situation we are in, and if we finish 8th, then it truly shows how dreadful this league has been this season: any other year we should be finishing rock bottom.

Let’s face it.

Other than the season we had Nisbet and our glorious League One triumph, we’ve been murder since 2018.

Have we ever had a manager that’s united so much of a support against him so quickly after taking over? It’s just a chore watching us play, no passion, entertainment or excitement at all. I sincerely hope there’s a realistic get out clause in his contract so we’re not stuck with him or we’re going down.

Yep he needs to go, well out his depth.

Should never have been appointed in the first place.

I discovered that he was appointed following the game in which we drew 3-3 against Falkirk. From the outset, I perceived his appointment as lacking in ambition, a recurring theme within this club.

I work every other weekend, and during my weekends off, I attend the games, sacrificing precious time with my four-year-old daughter and partner. This effort seems pointless, as watching those matches leaves me feeling miserable. Yesterday, I took my partner and daughter to the game, making a day of it by visiting the park beforehand and then walking to the match. In the course of our relationship, my partner has accompanied me to three games: our home game to Alloa, where we suffered a 3-0 defeat, the away match against Partick this season, which ended in a 1-0 loss, and yesterday`s game. She has yet to witness us win. In fact, considering the matches I’ve taken my daughter to, which I have make the effort to do whenever possible amidst my work schedule, the last time she saw us win was in September of last year when we beat Morton 3-1 at home.

I am very much Tidser out since his debut match with Airdrie. He faltered at the first obstacle, and so far, I have yet to witness any evidence that instills confidence in his ability to lead this team.

I thought it was wrong for Tidser to come in and say he would try and instill his style into a team fighting a relegation battle, it`s surely a time to grind out points, but it`s actually turned out to be really nothing new.
It`s much of the same side to side in your own half insipid stuff that we have seen under McPake. It didn`t work for JM and it`s not working for MT.
I suppose the question is whether the squad are good enough regardless of the style.
One thing is for sure the ball needs to get forward earlier and when it gets there the players need to be more positive, It`s on Tidser to work out how.

He`s only been in the door 5 minutes, the overall results haven`t been dreadful and he`s inherited a crap squad whilst having to try and integrate all the new guys all while having to deal with that pitch.

I`ll admit I`m baffled by the constant playing of Yeboah but he deserves (the manager) at least until the end of the season. If we do go down then he`s an ideal choice to bring us back up,and if he keeps us up he deserves a transfer window and at least half a season to see if he can make it work.

Not every club benefits from the new manager bounce and we never seem to be one of them.

A lot of you guys have had it in for him before he took his first training session. Spitting the dummy because you didn`t get one of the managers you wanted.

I think this is the last straw for me regarding this petty minded forum full of dilettantes and keyboard warriors. This used to be a fun forum to visit, now it`s a bloody chore.

Oh here we go again. The greetin` faced brigade are never far away. How many managers can we sack in the shortest period of time. Our nemeses yesterday went down that route 3 or 4 times and would even have sacked McGlynn after we humiliated them in Division 1. But no, they persevered, worked hard and eventually came good. I doubt if Pep Guardiola or Messr. Slot would be able to produce world beaters with our current crop in no time flat. We do, at least have to give the new man the chance to grow into the job. The manager doesn`t exist who can guarantee our survival in this league, so give us all a break and try and get behind the team, at least to the end of the season.

Kozma can I ask what makes him an ideal choice to bring us back up?

Playing boring football with no end goal isn’t going to do that.

I find I’m forcing myself along to EEP solely because I bought a season ticket. It shouldn’t be like that. No entertainment on offer.

Over the last 6 games, we are tied 4th in the form league.
