Also I can’t be the only one seeing local business owners on social media posing with Neil Lennon. It’s been an utterly miserable period supporting the Pars with a total disconnect between fans and club for years but now we have the 2 biggest names associated with the club in years out there and promoting the club….maybe something is happening 🤞 Reply |
22. Author: Pars232 Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 08:30 Yip I agree with you P. I`ve never particularly connected to Lennon, but accept he has brought something new to the club and I`m intrigued as to what this may lead to. It`s positive for the city too. The disconnect between club and fans was evident when the Germans were here. This is a pivotal point in the clubs progression, I really hope this works out for us Reply |

24. Author: kozmasrightfoot Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 12:44 ^This. I doubt he`ll be here next season though. Footballers like money, and we can`t pay him the wages he would want. Maybe I`m wrong. Pars fan. Magpies fan. Mens tennis fan. Alternative rock fan. Not a fan of much else. Reply |
25. Author: Berkey Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 18:31 I’m unconvinced. I know he’s unfit just now and trying to get the fitness back but I reckon he would be too much of a gamble to offer him a decent enough contract to stay. Feels like we’ll have a good 11 next year then maybe some youngsters etc on the bench, his what would be substantial wage could be better spent elsewhere me thinks. He’s 33 going on 40 out there. 26. Author: Parfect69 Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 18:33 I thought he was awful today. If that’s him getting match fit. God help us all. Need better for next season Reply |

28. Author: Ahoy!Ahoy! Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 19:07 Hopefully he’s not here next season. He is nowhere near good enough anymore, can’t run, can’t tackle and can’t pass. Enjoy your retirement in the summer. Reply |
29. Author: kozmasrightfoot Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 19:10 More like 40 going on 50 Berkey. It`s a shame he`s turned out to be such a disappointment after all the initial excitement around him 😞 . Pars fan. Magpies fan. Mens tennis fan. Alternative rock fan. Not a fan of much else. Reply |

31. Author: Rigger Al Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 19:47 Lets now slag the guy off ,we all see he aint match fit by along way ,but being around the players ,training may be bringing other dividends .Who knows if Lennon stays and he gets a full pre season ,think there was maybe methodvin Lennons madness bringing him in Reply |
32. Author: Big G Ball Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 19:52 Superstar posters....... give the guy a break ffs as do any of u clowns know what he is being paid........not a lot tbh Reply |
33. Author: AdamAntsParsStripe Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 20:03 He was next to useless on the park today. Overweight and unfit and a headless chicken come to mind. Not his fault of course but he shouldn’t be putting a Pars top on unless he has a full pre season. Zwei Pints Bier und ein Päckchen Chips bitte ![]() Reply |
34. Author: Raymie the Legend Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 20:08 It took him a wee while to get his top on! He’s clearly nowhere near match fit and won’t be before the season ends. I’m sure a match fit Victor would be an asset. Let’s see what happens in the summer. ![]() It`s bloody tough being a legend Ron Atkinson - 1983 Post Edited (Sat 19 Apr 20:08) Reply |
35. Author: parathletic Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 20:18 He`s been here for about 3 or 4 weeks has he not? That`s not far off the length of a pre-season already. You would be expecting to see some progress if he has been training hard behind the scenes? Reply |
36. Author: Alter Ego Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 20:24 He didn’t kick a ball for months so 3-4 weeks training isn’t going to make any difference….He was brought in as a celeb footballer gimmick and did well taking any pressure off the team. I could be wrong but I don’t even think he will be on a lot of ££££ but Lennon pal and looking to get fit/back in the game? Mon the Pars! Reply |
37. Author: Hunter78 Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 20:25 Yet some experts on here wanted him to start centre forward today 😂😂😂 an absolute shambles of a signing and you’ve got to question every part of this new owner/CEO ability to sign players. 10 in January and 1 passable then this…..quite why anybody’s excited for the summer is beyond me Reply |
38. Author: Dave_1885 Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 20:27 parathletic, Sat 19 Apr 20:18 Theres a massive difference between pre season training and business end training. He’s also got no game time to get up to any sort of match fitness (completely different from normal fitness) and trying to do it with the usual suspects online calling him every name under the sun. Least we have 2 games to go where he can go away, work fully on his fitness and then maybe get a trial run in pre season before any sort of deal is hashed out. Reply |
39. Author: parathletic Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 20:33 Dave_1885, Sat 19 Apr 20:27 I get the match fitness part but folk seemed to be suggesting that he was still overweight which is a different matter. I wasn`t there today so just picking up on what`s been said rather than being able to form my own opinion. Even not playing, with a bit of professionalism you should still be in reasonable shape unless injuries have been hindering him? It's not as if we have been looking for 90 minutes from him but just to be in a position to make a positive contribution when he comes on. Post Edited (Sat 19 Apr 20:36) Reply |
