Let`s just get this disappointing season done, start the rebuild and ffs try to start enjoying things. I don`t wanna go down like disco. Reply |
43. Author: Alter Ego Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 21:35 Why would the club pay £££ for a player who hasn’t played for months? His signing was just a good PR job and it worked. Mon the Pars! Reply |
44. Author: Buster_Brown Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 21:38 I have no idea what wage he’s on, but with what we are seeing…there’s going to have to be a massive improvement to even consider him for next season. He looks 10 years older than 33 and if you take the new away, people would be on here and across social media saying how honking he looked. Crazy how much he has regressed Reply |
45. Author: Alter Ego Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 22:13 Again a good PR job by the club…everyone was saying ohhhh Wanyama blah blah but he was about 7 months not playing football and overweight…. Mon the Pars! Reply |
46. Author: Paralex Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 22:22 To be fair to the "expert" who suggested he might do a turn as a foil to Chris Kane, he maybe was aware that Wanyama wasn`t up to match sharpness and not too fast over the ground, but thought he might at least get his head to one or two of the high balls being fizzed up to the front line. He would also be less of a danger giving up possession in an advanced area than he was when caught in the last line of defence against Ayr Utd. Also he couldn`t have done much worse than Yeboa, who being only an 18 year old youth didn`t get his head to one ball and didn`t appear to have the physical strength to avoid being bullied by the Thistle street wise hard men. And it does occur to me that I can only remember one single shot on target today and that from a midfield player so our front men were hardly incisive. Post Edited (Sat 19 Apr 22:29) Reply |
47. Author: Alter Ego Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 22:32 WTF is wrong with you all?? He hasn’t played any football in 8 months and looks like he’s put 2 stone on in weight….no way he going to compete in our team at all for the rest of the games…😳😳 Mon the Pars! Reply |
48. Author: Paralytic77 Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 22:44 He`s at the pre season stage ffs,no way he has gon from top epl player to compete dud with little serious injuries in the last few years Reply |
49. Author: kozmasrightfoot Date: Sat 19th Apr 2025. 22:54 He`s 6ft 2 and strong,so bang him upfront and see what happens. He can`t do any worse than the young lad Yeboah. Even just using his strength to hold up the ball and hopefully lay it off for Toddy or Cooper to whack it into the top corner. Needs must n all that, we`re not bursting with options and like someone above said,he`ll do less damage if he gives it away upfront. Or keep playing Yeboah. Pars fan. Magpies fan. Mens tennis fan. 50. Author: parathletic Date: Sun 20th Apr 2025. 09:15 Paralytic77, Sat 19 Apr 22:44 He joined Spurs in 2016 and played in the first season, for the next 3 seasons he hardly got a game. He was playing in the Celtic team with Scott Brown, Aiden McGeady, Charlie Mulgrew,Efe Ambrose and the likes in 2011. Father time waits for no man, even more so for a combative midfielder who needs to cover ground. We`ve seen rapid decline in players like that before. Roy Keane came up here about the same age and did nothing. Graeme Dorrans was playing in the EPL the same time as Victor. He wasn`t getting in the Kenya or Montreal team so perhaps he has been on the decline for a while?, there didn`t appear to be a host of clubs queuing up? Post Edited (Sun 20 Apr 14:32) Reply |
51. Author: Hunter78 Date: Sun 20th Apr 2025. 09:20 Paralytic77, Sat 19 Apr 22:44 He’s hardly played in years. Terrible signing and whoever authorised it should be seriously questioned, training with Barnet in the conference who wouldn’t sign him tells a story straight away. Blurry eyes on a player from 10 years ago. Reply |

53. Author: cammypar 1995 Date: Sun 20th Apr 2025. 13:21 He looks like a guy who has won a competition to be in a match day squad and Lennon has brought him on for sentimental value. It`s an embarrassment every time he gets game time. c'mon the pars Reply |
54. Author: wee eck Date: Sun 20th Apr 2025. 13:42 Regardless of fans` opinions of Wanyama, is it likely NL would put him on in each of the last two games, knowing what was at stake, if he didn`t think he could make a contribution? Reply |
55. Author: Bamba-Daft Date: Sun 20th Apr 2025. 14:37 It is an embarrassment giving him game time. Hopefully we’ve seen the last of him. Would rather see any midfielder from the u18s given a go ahead of him, atleast they’d be able to run. Reply |
56. Author: Ahoy!Ahoy! Date: Sun 20th Apr 2025. 14:54 You’re right it is an embarrassment, he comes on fouls folk and gets cheered for it. I personally feel he’s become a laughing stock for supporters more than someone who can actually impact the team. Reply |
57. Author: wee eck Date: Sun 20th Apr 2025. 15:00 So why does NL bring him on knowing what`s at stake? The rest of his selections and subs are pretty cautious. Reply |
58. Author: NMCmassive Date: Sun 20th Apr 2025. 18:56 Hunter78, Sat 19 Apr 20:25 Owners that are putting their money where their mouth is and hopefully Neil Lennon running the rule over the signings. Definitely nothing to look forward too… COYP Reply |
59. Author: Jeffery Date: Sun 20th Apr 2025. 19:26 One positive to his signing is that he`s taken a huge amount of attention away from a team of players who have looked well off it for most of this season. Instead of looking at them everyone has been looking at Victor. Sorry that may sound harsh. I hope he gets fit and can continue to play the game. Reply |
60. Author: Hunter78 Date: Sun 20th Apr 2025. 20:46 NMCmassive, Sun 20 Apr 18:56 Like they did with Tidser and January. Well done the new owners on that rubbish 👏🏽 they seem to have got it right with Lennon but back to square one with VW. Reply |
