21. Author: Parfect69 Date: Wed 7th May 2025. 14:31 Jeffery, Wed 7 May 14:24 Maybe negotiating a longer deal for Mullen hopefully Reply |
22. Author: PARadise Date: Wed 7th May 2025. 14:33 I`ll miss comrie he`s been a fantastic servant to us but ultimately time to move on, back to St Johnstone perhaps? The rest is the right call. There`s something I like about Oakley booth and maybe with a preseason he might be more effective but I`m yet to be convinced. Wanyama is done imo. I`d take a chance on Cooper. I love Hammy but I`m not sure he gets you to the next level. Mcann is the same, although in a free scoring team he might finally be worth the wait. Reply |
23. Author: KnebworthPar Date: Wed 7th May 2025. 14:47 Oakley Booth has a touch and can pass, good on the ball. Seemed to lose his way in games though. Might be one that shines with a bit more quality to play with, Lennon obviously see’s something in him. Reply |
24. Author: cammypar 1995 Date: Wed 7th May 2025. 14:49 No real loss if we are playing with a 5 at the back. c'mon the pars Post Edited (Wed 07 May 14:55) Reply |
25. Author: JimDAFC Date: Wed 7th May 2025. 14:50 Yeah I would keep Hammy he is very good at breaking up play when he plays in front of the back line and that is in my opinion his best position. Needs to improve his passing but he also is a benefit to the team with his versatility. Reply |
26. Author: TroonPar Date: Wed 7th May 2025. 14:57 There are 24 players on the Wikipedia list. Assuming it’s accurate, I’d expect a few of the younger lads to go out on loan and maybe lose a couple during negotiations! That’ll leave 6-8 spaces to fill with the quality we need to get into contention. Bill Kinnear Reply |
27. Author: TroonPar Date: Wed 7th May 2025. 14:58 And one of those spaces has to be a goalkeeper. Bill Kinnear Reply |
28. Author: Vamos Pars Date: Wed 7th May 2025. 15:00 Hamilton and Oakley-Boothe just aren’t good enough and not convinced Wanyama will be fit enough even after a pre-season. Worrying lack of ambition IMO. We have to aim for better. Reply |
29. Author: cammypar 1995 Date: Wed 7th May 2025. 15:11 I`m confident that we will keep Mullen and McCann. c'mon the pars Reply |

31. Author: Bannockburn Par Date: Wed 7th May 2025. 15:31 Mullen will be offered a longer deal, no doubt about it. Reply |
32. Author: Athletico Date: Wed 7th May 2025. 15:46 Oakley-Boothe, I think can be a very useful player for us, he`s played at a very high level at a young age and impressed. He just needs a full preseason, as he`s played very little football in the past year or so. Reply |
33. Author: Raymie the Legend Date: Wed 7th May 2025. 15:59 It’s not easy to come into a struggling team and play on a poor pitch. ![]() It`s bloody tough being a legend Ron Atkinson - 1983 Reply |
34. Author: Bamba-Daft Date: Wed 7th May 2025. 16:00 Concerning that with us still having KRH, Otoo & Matty Todd signed up then us talking to Oakley-Boothe, wanyama, Hamilton and cooper.. that’s the nucleus of a very poor midfield remaining for another season. Post Edited (Wed 07 May 16:01) Reply |
35. Author: PARrot Date: Wed 7th May 2025. 16:01 Im at loggerheads with myself here. Whose judgement to trust? Niel Lennon or the dotnet supreme court. This could take a while to figure out. Reply |
36. Author: Bamba-Daft Date: Wed 7th May 2025. 16:03 Or you could look at how those players have performed over the last season or two (or 3 in some cases) and make your mind up from that. They’ve been utterly abysmal. Reply |
37. Author: wee eck Date: Wed 7th May 2025. 16:16 It looks like we`re going to have at least another season of certain posters having a pop at Lewis McCann as yet another Pars manager decides he`s worth a contract. Reply |
38. Author: parsfan97 Date: Wed 7th May 2025. 16:20 Lennon hasn’t decided McCann is worth a contract. Not a mention of that , only that he’ll be offered facilities whilst in rehab Post Edited (Wed 07 May 16:20) Reply |
39. Author: SAP PAR Date: Wed 7th May 2025. 16:20 I’m sure there are some under contract players who will be told they aren’t in the managers plans and given opportunity to have contracts terminated with compensation. It is commendable that the club have stood behind Fisher and Benedictus but I would expect their contracts to be terminated too if convicted. Reply |
40. Author: cammypar 1995 Date: Wed 7th May 2025. 16:23 SAP PAR, Wed 7 May 16:20 Probably shipped out on loan or signed on a free for a mid table league 1 club. c'mon the pars Reply |
