11. Author: NMCmassive Date: Tue 30th Dec 2025. 00:40 As much as he’s been a great player for us this season, I just don’t see it happening. However, he does seem to fit the profile of player that the owners seem to be looking at. I just don’t think Grangemouth would let it go through-especially after all their Social Media posts in the last few days. COYP Reply
12. Author: Higgys Mohawk Date: Tue 30th Dec 2025. 09:52 Barney will surely be staying at Falkirk. He’s an U-21 international and is improving all the time - I’m not sure he’s good enough to play in the Premiership yet but could see him being given a chance from the bench, especially while MacIver and Oliver are injured. Plus there are rumours Oliver might be leaving. I do think we could go back for him eventually though, maybe in summer as he does fit the profile of player the club are looking for and I think he’s shown he is capable at our level. Reply
13. Author: Dafc96 Date: Tue 30th Dec 2025. 13:43 Barney may or may not be a premiership player, we may see in the not so distant future, at the end of the day it is the top of Scottish football, and is the aim of every young footballer to play at the top of their profession, if he ends up warming the bench, does all his and our hard work become undone. He seems a bright bubbly guy with hopefully a lot of common sense to come with it. We have big goals at KDM group east end park, with aspirations of re joining the top flight either this or next season, if we make an offer that is accepted by Falkirk, he accepts, as long as he keeps his form up he is a starter for me, and hopefully he can keep playing and help us get promoted. These young players will gain valuable experience starting and playing in this league along with the coaching and guidance from a very experienced manager and coaching staff, can anyone young or even more experienced ask for more. He needs to keep playing and gaining the experience he needs to play in the top flight, and no better place to do it is with us, hopefully he doesn`t go back to cover injuries then end up warming the bench. I am sure we have made an offer, if not we will. I just hope he accepts it when the offer comes in. If not good luck to the boy. Reply
14. Author: Berkey Date: Tue 30th Dec 2025. 17:13 I’m more worried falkirk want a decent chunk of change upfront and a big slice of a sell on (30%+) We need to make sure it makes financial sense for us. The post below replying to me is by one of .nets finest champions of mediocrity! Reply

18. Author: wee eck Date: Wed 31st Dec 2025. 08:41 No hint in NL`s preview of the Ross Co match that we`re about to sign a striker. He`s hoping Chris Kane will be available. There is mention elsewhere that we`re looking to sign another CB though, despite Ngwenya`s emergence in that position and his satisfaction with his contribution. John Tod being out for 6-10 weeks may have triggered the need for further cover. Post Edited (Wed 31 Dec 08:42) Reply
19. Author: Bertie Paton Date: Wed 31st Dec 2025. 09:31 I`m not surprised he`s going for another CB. Tod injury fairly long term, Otoo looks way out of sorts and can`t be trusted there and I think we might see Fisher see out the remainder of his contract elsewhere. He has spoken about the striker position being strengthened previously and now we have lost Barney, Kane also continues to struggle for fitness. I have no doubt we will bring a new striker in. If this mystery striker has been hanging about for a few months, then I`m sure a bit more info would been picked up on him by now. Seems very little known for something that`s been in the pipelines for months. I think it may well be nonsense. Reply
20. Author: Westies squint kicks Date: Wed 31st Dec 2025. 10:34 We might have an issue with JCM who we can assume the club would have been trying to tie down for longer than the years contract he signed in the summer. If he signs a "Pre" with someone else then there`s a scenario that Lennon being highly principled lets him go or doesn`t play him. Reply
