Pars finally showed up for the full 90 minutes.
With the new signings, we have a squad that should easily make top four.

Memhet’s save blocking with foot first half was key moment.

McLean was helpful not giving a handball penalty second half - it did look a maybe’s aye call.

Commiserations to the Hibs fans, we`d be gutted to lose to an injury time og so I`m giving them a wee shout out.

I cant remember the last time we pulled off a significant shock like that so enjoy your day fellow Pars fans.

Roll on the draw. Any idea when it is? After the Celtic game or do we have to wait until an obscure day?

What a great performance from the team today. I liked the way we didn`t just sit back and defend with the occasional counter attack. and instead took the game to Hibs. When we got possession we looked to get the ball forward with some nice passing moves. We also pressed them well. Hibs will rue missed chances (especially Bowie`s one on one) but we came close too (especially later in the second half). So many great performances, but Mehmet was great today and Abdulai was also immense. We won lots of 50:50`s too and showed a lot of heart. Well done Pars and thanks ParsTV.

It’s been a long time since we had as good a cup result. Maybe some of the older ones can tell me the last time we put a team out of the cup from a higher division ?

An impressive feat to use it as a supporting arm when it wasn`t even touching the ground!

We acquitted ourselves really well. Never under the cosh or too much pressure and had our fair share of possession and chances.

Stand outs for me today were Mehmet, Abdulai, JCM, Ngwenya, Fraser and Gilmour.

We might just have found a position for Ngwenya?

Our defence was excellent to-day.We had no failures but when Rudden and Thomas went off I thought we had lost our chance of scoring. Well deserved victory.

Robbie Fraser is a brilliant player. Glad he`s signed on for 3 years.

Top day on planet earth. Pars were excellent, atmosphere in the Norrie superb. Atmosphere in the NW bedlam, when we scored.

Well done Pars you fought for that result & won!

A terrific and well deserved win. The defense was absolutely superb and arguably more importantly well composed on the ball. Mehmet made a couple of fine saves but was otherwise rarely called upon.

Can`t ask for anymore than that, a packed ground and through to the next round having knocked out a big side.

You can see how much the overall quality in the squad has improved, a mention for Oakley Boothe who I have been critical of, I think that was his best game in a Pars shirt. Ran his socks off in midfield along with Gilmour.

Thomas up front applied himself really well and was physical throughout with some nice touches, Morrison coming off the bench clearly has that bit of skill and flair we maybe have lacked in the team.

Not the team I would’ve gone with but that’s why I’m not the manager. Brilliant performance from the whole side. Abdulai has frightening potential. What a time to be a Pars fan.

This is Andy Tod`s world and we are lucky to live in it.

Possibly the run to 07 cup final? Rangers, Hearts and Hibs all dispatched that year…..

Thankfully VAR wasn’t in use because that pen shout is one of those ones they spend 5 mins reviewing then give it, even though ref had full view and said no. Cant complain it wasn’t given either as it’s a 50/50 really.

Don’t feel for them either as their players were going down at every little touch today, trying to buy fouls and that Klidje is never a £1m player 😂 more offsides today by himself than we have had all season!

Both our debutants did all right. Maybe a chance to bench A. Tod for a wee rest.
I thought it a shame that Hamilton came on and took the captains band off JCM.
There`s a few good questions to ask now..... how do you play Matty Todd, Kierney, Morrison ... KRH not in the squad today too. Lots of choices has to make it good for the manger to choose from.

Stenny three up on Morton (and the Ton missed a penalty earlier)
