Topic: ARBROATH TONIGHT

Good luck to the boys for the game tonight. No doubt it will be a tough game and we will have to dig in, but we are good enough and have enough talent in the squad to win.

Stating the obvious in these situations - but the first goal is key, especially early on - if the Pars go head they are in the driving seat - if Arbroath then it`s game on.

I feel like we deserved to be going up there with a 2 or 3 goal lead, but I`m still feeling positive about it 🏁

As Napoleon said "There are but two powers in the world, the sword and the mind. In the long run the sword is always beaten by the mind".

We have the sword, it will be a case of being in the right mindset that will hopefully deliver a victory.

We need to win the tie, these playoff games are essential to our cup final preparations.

A solid defensive draw in order to progress against a well organised and hard working team will suffice. We are hardly going to be taking the game to Celtic so displaying the defensive side of our game tonight is just as important

We don`t need to win, we do need to go out to win. Playing for a draw, especially with a single goal advantage, is unlikely to end well.

Safe travels to the team and all Pars fans tonight.

A very tight game ahead, start well, get on the front foot, and keep it there.

Agree parsfan - really hope we can go through because I think the more we can have these pressure games, the more we can prepare ourselves mentally to go out and perform in the cup final

Play the game, not the occasion they say

John Tod starts and Abdulai in midfield according to the Pars facebook. Amade dropped to the bench.
I see the logic in having a big more muscle in the middle against Arbroath but honestly I thought Nuru looked poor in there on Tues, Charie looked scared to pass to him at times

One change. Tod comes in for Amade, so I expect Abduali in midfield to give us a bit more physicality in there.

The tie is over two legs, I`m not bothered how we win it.

We should definitely be taking the game to Celtic, they are as **** as they ever are going to be.

Also another body in there who is good in the air for defending set pieces and even by kicks as they`ll be getting slung in from all angles if the wind picks up.

It looked like NL had tried Nuru out in midfield from the QP game, I susprct as part of advamced planning for the playoffs. We struggled in midfield on Friday in tge 2nd half so this should shore us up a bit and give us a bit of a threat with height from corners and set pieces around the box. I think its a good move.

I would`ve had Hammy personally, he has tonnes of experience in that position and is great in the air too, despite his height... but NL has made big calls this season and got nearly all of them right, so let`s see

Big move putting young Tod in defence. Abdulai was poor in midfield on Tuesday night. Why change the defence that has been superb for us??

Agreed. He was sorely missed the first game.

No wind + SB is the same colour as DT.

Criticising Abdulai`s performance in midfield on Tuesday is a bit OTT. He only played there for the last 10 minutes when JT replaced Amade!
