Excellent 2-legged performance.

The experts can analyse the crap out of it but job done and that`s all that matter.

On to Tuesday.

Agreed

Job done, and we are through!

The big players (and everyone really) all dug in, just what`s needed against Arbroath.

Delighted to go through! Very tough match again as expected.
Don’t know what drugs Lennon was on saying Fraser had a great game mind you.

Was always going to be a battle over 2 legs against that team. We won the battle. Partick will be a different game all together and we should be able to play to our strengths more. Still in the mix, and cup final to come. Enjoy the ride, these moments don’t come along every season 🏁

Great how others see it, thought Fraser was very good tonight but Andy Tod was poor, had a touch like a snooker table cushion tonight.

The front 3 really struggled to keep a hold of the ball tonight. It`ll be a big call to see who plays on Tues.
Could see Cooper in for Morrison, who hasn`t had much joy the last two games, but it could be argued that Morrison has done what was needed of him and ran himself into the ground for the team.
Does Amade come back in? And then does Nuru go back into the back 3? J Tod was great after we changed it around tonight, but it`s probably not our preferred set up

If they were showing that game on an aeroplane I’d have walked out. Take it every time if it means we progress though. Performances don’t matter at this point.

As much as I thought Abdulai is never a midfielder and we missed that bit of composure that Amade or Oakley-Boothe give us, with hindsight, Lennon got it spot on. He`s tested him out in that position in a few games, and he was exactly the sort of disruptor that was needed in the midfield tonight, against a team that made it a scrap

Lennon is no fool,he Knows how to judge the opposition and adjust tactics accordingly. Not pretty at times ,but effective.

Was definitely not pretty tonight, but Abdulai got stuck right into them and made life hard for Arbroath. Manager got the tactics spot on. Different match ahead against Thistle.

We managed the game over two legs. Credit to the players.

I actually believe we have a better chance of beating PT. Defensively Arbroath are better. If we go at PT they tend to panic at the back.

Not all games of football are beautiful. We came, we battled and we won. We’re now capable of handling and managing these types of games and we have the quality to hang on and get over the line. Ox tonight showed great composure after his miss judged tackle and pulled off another great penalty save. That’s the kind of quality we have in the squad now. Mullen is another example. Never gives up and has an uncanny knack of being in the right place at the right time. Everyone put a shift in tonight to get the job done against one of the best defensive sides in the league. COYP!

A really professional performance against a difficult, stuffy side that turned into hatchet men. No idea how they didn`t get a sending off.

What more can you say about the Ox, hero in two massive games for us with penalty saves. Deserved to go through and can`t wait to see how we tackle Thistle during this terrific season
