Morrisonn for Hamilton, Abdulai back in defense, J Tod up front... If we are going to play hoof ball, we need someone who can at least win something

Absolute hatchet men playing for Arbroath.

Morrison has been a half a yard off every single ball so far.
Abdulai wins a lot on midfield especially in the air but I would do the swap back to defense also.
Hard watch so far.

Scrappy encounter so far, but we have to be happy with the scoreline in the tie so far. It`ll be a battle to get through this. Scott Robinson is a player that always impresses me, although he`s reminding me a lot of the actor Neil Pearson from Drop The Dead Donkey these days.

John Todd in midfield?? What?
Was way of it at the start but been ok..Abdulai has to go back and get Hamilton on.
Arbroath and quite right are trying to kick us off the park but we have been ok..I’ll take another crap 45 mins for us to go through tbh.

Very scrappy game, both teams could do well to keep 11 on the park here. That last one was a shocker on Gilmour, yellow all day long

Long grass, un-wattered pitch, ref just letting arbroath push, grab and barge when Pars win headers. Its a tough watch.

Both teams seem to be struggling with passing on that pitch, aye
Big call for me is whether to bring Hammy or Amade on. Amade was brilliant first half on Tues but got bullied out of the game later.

How many corners did Arbroath get in the first half? I can only remember 1? BBC has 2. (Yes I have a bet on)

Dow`s chance early on and then Robinson off the line both lead to corners I think?

Been a tough game , pitch certainly isn’t helping.

We knew it would be tough up here but we have won here this season and can do again. Only one player I am really not impressed with is Morrison. He runs to look busy but doesn’t seem to contribute (watch this he will score or assist and I’ll look like a blue t1t !!)
Hopefully we can get a bit of momentum in this second half and score a goal or two and maintain a clean sheet. COYP

Regardless of tonight`s result, based on the last 3 matches I doubt Partick Thistle will be having any sleepless nights ahead of Tuesday.

Cheers, think I missed the Dow early one.

Cut out the head tennis, Pars. Keep the ball on the ground.

Not a great game but we’re showing very little composure in possession.

Morrison and Andy Tod showing very little and giving the ball away all the time. Morrison too small and Tod just too timid in a physical game like tonight. Morrison a player who at this level when he’s on his game he’s a good championship level player but when he’s not he looks out of his depth.

Still they have to score and as they start to push on we might just catch them and with Kane we are always dangerous.

Matty Todd just not a right winger but can’t see other options who will stand up physically.

Only just started hearing "," the drums" etc... point being atmosphere seems shocking on TV . Is it poor or are BBC cutting out noise "incase of offence"?
