2. Author: nick_dafc1 Date: Sat 15th Aug 2026. 16:44 calum96, Sat 15 Aug 16:40 He came on vs Inverness and missed an absolute sitter. Anyway who is he going to play ahead of? Kane, Shaw, Tod, I doubt it Reply

Fans on here willing to pigeon hole him are quite arrogant to presume a guy as young as him is happy to be an impact sub. Especially when he`s watching some get 90 minutes. | 7. Author: GJS93 Date: Sat 15th Aug 2026. 17:51 and nearly every time he starts he has very little impact, gets hooked after an hour and you can see why he doesnt start. is that going to be different now? maybe but it wouldnt be a surprise if it wasnt. Reply |
8. Author: Sacktheref69 Date: Sat 15th Aug 2026. 17:57 Cooper lacks consistency. It genuinely wouldn`t surprise me if we start him next week and he’s hooked after an hour. Hopefully I`m wrong, and he starts and makes an impact. History tells me otherwise, unfortunately. This is Andy Tod`s world and we are lucky to live in it. Reply
9. Author: DA-go Par Adonis Date: Sat 15th Aug 2026. 18:02 Cooper is extremely consistent. He`s normally very good when he comes off the bench in the 2nd half and generally quite anonymous when he starts. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Equal rights and justice in this time Reply

11. Author: Ianoappar Date: Sat 15th Aug 2026. 18:36 Cooper makes things happen by taking players on trying to open up defences instead of this pass pass pass philosophy that goes backwards and forwards and seldom get us anywhere. Reply
12. Author: Berkey Date: Sat 15th Aug 2026. 19:04 Cooper is very direct and takes his man on but agree with the comments, he’s a bit lightweight on the ball so makes sense he has more impact against a tiring opposition. Allan is the man we’ve been calling out for, he’ll walk into this team once up to speed. The post below replying to me is by one of .nets finest champions of mediocrity! Reply
13. Author: Parsdaft21346327964 Date: Sat 15th Aug 2026. 19:13 Surely no one can watch Tod play and then say cooper is lightweight on the ball 70% of A Tod’s play is getting pushed off the ball Reply
| 14. Author: Berkey Date: Sat 15th Aug 2026. 19:26 Cooper is lightweight on the ball and Tod is worse, but both too easily eased of it. We’re playing Tod knowing he’s do nothing for 88 minutes but the hope is he’ll score in the other 2 minutes. We might need more than that to improve on last season. | 15. Author: Rusty Shackleford Date: Sat 15th Aug 2026. 19:31 I think both Tods need a spell out the first X1 for their own good tbh. Was excited by Allan. Has the air of someone who could cut it at a higher level. Lennon certainly needs to earn those pennies in the next couple of months. Reply |

17. Author: CrossPar Date: Sat 15th Aug 2026. 19:41 I like Cooper. He displays a level of football intelligence that most of our players do not have. As an impact sub, he has been excellent. He has disappointed in games he has started in the past but that cannot disbar him from starting any games. I hope he gets a chance. Reply

19. Author: Hoolie Date: Sat 15th Aug 2026. 21:01 He’s an impact sub that gets praised every game so start him in the next game and see how the lad does?? Can’t be any worse than how the team starts tbh. Reply
20. Author: dd23 Date: Sat 15th Aug 2026. 22:10 It’s probably about 6 months since he last started a game. People change and develop, he’s surely worth another chance after his recent performances. Reply
