Going on the comments on FJL, the fire setting trend is one going about on TikTok at the minute……I mean, wow, its just staggering how easily influenced kids are these days.

I agree with you too da_no_1 - it is useful when mentioning road closures etc (without the need for pictures) but the rest of it is an absolute state. Seems to have become a beacon of free speech and local gossip though for some…….

Some of Fife Jammers isn`t helpful like showing someone being arrested. The fires stuff just gives attention.

Seems last night some meds were attacking the police van in Inverkeithing as they were getting arrested while neds in Cowdenbeath were lobbing bottles of Buckie at people riding horses. Honestly don`t know what`s gone wrong with these beasts. Absolutely zero hope for the future, or do they already have that low confidence of a positive life? Depressing.

I seen a post on Facebook from councillor Sam Steele, "A resident posted some very disturbing news on the Carnock and Gowkhall FB page this morning. The Cenotaph has been vandalised, with all the wreaths being set on fire and thrown in the burn.

I had also been told that a group had been hanging around in the cemetery during the past two evenings.

I`ve contacted our Lead Officer at Safer Communities and requested that the area is added to their patrol matrix, which they have agreed.

This will obviously not help what has already occurred, but hopefully will prevent anything further taking place."

They tried to set fires to the trees at Pitreavie golf course too.

Just on Friday, a motorbike damaged the 18th green. This was 330pm and as you can imagine, it’s right in front of the clubhouse.

Golf courses are struggling enough as it is without this nonsense. They`re also one of the few places nowadays who offer affordable membership for under 18s. Some will even have stocks of old clubs for those who can`t afford to buy a set.

One of the kids who was chucking bottles at the horses in Cowdenbeath was identified by his step mum so let`s hope the idiot has learned his lesson. Could easily have killed one of the girls or harmed the horses.

Set alight a box of cereal in Duloch Tesco this afternoon. Whole shop evacuated and fire brigade turned up. Quite a bit of damage.

Really hope it was caught on camera and they are dealt with as strongly as the law allows for that kind of incident. This kind of behaviour seems to be escalating.

Surely they have them on the store cctv? Quite possibly the same culprits setting fire to trees in Duloch and Pitreavie ?

The cctv will have caught them but with faces covered I`d expect.

The police have identified who did it. It all seems part of this stupid TikTok trend. Starting a fire in a wood or field is one thing, doing it in a shop filled with people is unbelievably stupid, especially in an aisle filled with probably the most combustible foods! Perhaps getting dramatic, but that`s an example of intentionally putting lives at risk. You can tell who the local idiots are on Facebook based on the laugh emojis. Absolutely incredible.

Thats something at least Jake. My laddie worked in the McDs about a year ago and was quite happy to be in the kitchen because of the goings on downstairs.
Thet had to lock the doors some evenings as the Police stopped coming out and told them to organise their own security.

He`s got history:

Threatened neighbour with a meat cleaver
Abused numerous social workers
Slashed tyres on a car

I`d guess he needs support and isn`t getting it on the outside. It`s an absolute disgrace that often the only way to quickly get support is to get put in a prison.

Not a lot of support inside either, Jake, sadly.
