Apparently he was stealing stuff but security were on him as he was known to shoplift. He told some kids to get out as something bad was going to happen then set the fire and tried to escape by running through the staff doors.Got the full story today.

Plenty more disruption today. Got to wonder what goes through their thick skulls to set fires all day.

It`s all for attention and the idiot who runs Fife Jammers just loves giving it to them and claims it`s because people need to know about it. Why? The fires are typically in woods and presumably reported to fire service before Fife Jammers. The guy who runs FJ just loves the attention too.

Benarty Hill is now being targeted. It`s getting ridiculous.

Do you mean the war memorial at the side of the Abbey/Palace? If true, absolutely disgusting. Someone already destroyed the Mercat Cross a couple of years ago and it`s only now getting repaired. What goes through people`s minds when they`re doing this stuff? I can understand things like nicking a traffic cone or a garden gnome, but why destroy things? Do they sit round the next day like "Mind how I trashed that monument?".

Nah, he means the Mercat Cross - the remaining pillar toppled and smashed in 2. Plenty bank machines there though to catch the culprit on their cameras - wouldn’t expect anything to happen though.

Tbh, that could have happened from someone just swinging on it. It`s a farce it`s taken this long to organise a repair and it`s supposed to be regularly monitored. The council want to shift it down to where the gap site is anyway so they can create a wholly unnecessary and un wanted "City Square".

Having seen the damage, that`s been a vehicle or something heavy dropped. Given it happened at a VERY specific time in the morning,.I`m guessing a car or van hit it.

See all these wee bams going around…all it will take is to mess with the wrong person and they will regret their behaviour…

another day yesterday where numerous emergency services were unable to help in actual emergency situations because another darling little cherub decided to spend hours on the roof of the school in inverkeithing.

Reportedly up there to avoid a warrant for his arrest for setting fires……also the parent saying they can’t control him. Chuck him in Polmont for 6 months but not the kids section, stick him in with the real criminals and see what happens.

It was for the fires down inverkeithing quarry. Was in the roof for 8 hours. I didn’t go to Inverkeithing but that is a pretty big building, surely can’t be easy to climb up even for an agile kid

It was the primary school, not the high school. Think its fairly easy to access if you can climb a drain pipe.

Even better Buffy…….

People under the age of 18 are no longer being taken to YOI. Instead they are put into secure accommodation in the community with assistance.
