Every time a social worker gets blamed for a death / abuse of a chil, people probably don’t want to become involved in working to make it better. You don`t fund enough social workers so people get missed, experience an adolescent trauma they take into adulthood that impacts their own kids and you`ve suddenly got an entire family who need support rather than one child. 100% respect to social workers and carers too. Not enough of either and doing a hell of a lot of work for little return. Reply |
