What an inspirational business leader. Smart enough to save her country and make money while doing it.

She’ll not need her £300 daily attendance fee for the House of Lords in that case ?

Never mind investigating the Bra Queen lets investigate who awarded her the contract .. Wheres Boris ?

Referencing the Guardian story during an urgent question in the House of Commons, Ms Rayner said it appeared "tens of millions of pounds" from the money awarded to the company "ended up in offshore accounts connected to the individuals involved".

In response, Health Minister Neil O`Brien told MPs it had been widely reported PPE Medpro had an "underperforming contract" and the government could claim for damages, which can be followed by litigation if an agreement isn`t reached.

Mone referred PPE Medpro for the VIP lane 5 days before the company was even registered. Michael Gove has admitted receiving the call from her and passing the details on to the Civil Servants. Within weeks PPE Medpro received a £203 million contract despite clearly having no experience of providing PPE.

This is nothing but racketeering and is only the tip of the iceberg, they should all be in jail.

In this type of situation, who is to blame? Presumably the Government m, unless they were completely convinced of the ability of this new company. And as for the contract price being over-cooked, what should happen about that? If it was a genuine misjudgement, should the company obliged to refund the taxpayer to remove the grossly excess profits? Or is it a case of “buyer beware”, coupled with incompetence on the part of the government. Or maybe good old corruption??? Clearly there should be an enquiry into these and all the other dodgy PPE contracts. Quite sickening: really.

Gove severely implicated, Good Law Project trying to get access to the messages exchanged on personal emails, Mone tried to bully her way in!

It`s a classic way of rewarding party donors at the taxpayers` expense made easier by claiming that an international shortage of PPE meant the normal strict procurement rules had to be relaxed to ensure we got supplies.

Looking into it how did she accumulate her great wealth in the first place?
Was her bra company not struggling before she got into the lords
Think she has went full goblin mode somewhere along the line

From the Guardian:-

A spokesperson for Tory peer Lady Mone said:

With immediate effect, Baroness Mone will be taking a leave of absence from the House of Lords in order to clear her name of the allegations that have been unjustly levelled against her.

As PA Media reports, the leave of absence means Lady Mone will not attend sittings of the House, vote on any proceedings and will not be able to claim any allowance.

According to Hansard, Mone has only spoken in the Lords on five occasions since getting her peerage in 2015. She last voted in April.
