That’s just from the neck up, Lord knows what what else lurks down below that

Mone, under investigation by the house of lords because she didnt register an interest. She said she only needs to register an interest if there was personal gain.

She said today there was personal game. The trifling amount of £60 million in a trust fund for her and her kids. The profits from the £200 million deal that the company she was involved in but said she wasnt.

Assuming that £60m has been wisely invested ( it`d be rather bulky to stuff under a mattress), how much annual interest will it be accruing? Probably far more than any of us could extravagantly spend. And to think it`s taxpayers` money - makes my blood boil.

It`s really just pure corruption and theft of our money. The worst thing is, this is probably the tip of the iceberg, there should be a full investigation into how much of our money has founds its way into the off shore accounts of the tories and their cronies.

They should be hanging from the lamp posts

They are all falling out now. She is implicating Gove and saying Sunak knew about her links to PPE Medro.

From Aunty :-

Asked if Baroness Mone should be expelled from the Lords, Sir Keir said: "I don`t think she should be in the Lords. I think the government should be held to account for this."

Speaking on a hospital visit in Leeds, the Labour leader called for the government to make a statement in the House of Commons on the issue.

He told reporters the government had "serious questions" to answer, including who started the conversations with Baroness Mone in the first place.

Earlier, Energy Efficiency Minister Lord Callanan said he hoped Baroness Mone would "see sense" and "would not be coming back to the House of Lords".

"I think she should have declared her involvement in that in the House of Lords register, and there is guidance available for that," he told Sky News.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said the government was taking the issue "incredibly seriously" and was pursuing legal action against PPE Medpro.

However, he refused to comment further, citing the ongoing criminal investigation.

I’m sure she’ll get a nice payoff to fall on her sword and make all this noise go away and never reach the real money men

From the Guardian -

`There has been some confusion today about whether or not Michelle Mone is still a Conservative party peer. The Tories say she is not even a party member. But the House of Lords website does list Mone as a Conservative peer.`

Get the Kettle on and the Popcorn out :-

Asked about her admission she did not tell the truth about her links to the company, Mr Sunak said: "The government takes these things incredibly seriously, which is why we`re pursuing legal action against the company concerned in these matters."

"But it is also subject to an ongoing criminal investigation. And because of that, there`s not much further that I can add," he told reporters on a visit to Scotland.

Responding to Mr Sunak`s comments on X, Baroness Mone said: "What is @RishiSunak talking about?

"I was honest with the Cabinet Office, the government and the NHS in my dealings with them.

"They all knew about my involvement from the very beginning."

Michael Gove is likely to be called to give evidence to the Covid inquiry over his role in the Baroness Mone controversy, i understands.

Lady Hallett’s inquiry into the pandemic is expected to call up a number of current and former ministers involved in government contracts for PPE at the height of the pandemic, including the then Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, Mr Gove.

The inquiry is to begin investigating the issue of PPE procurement, and the extent to which there was a special fast-track for companies with links to the Government, in spring next year.
