Topic: Mcpake stay? Or Go??

There is absolutely zero point in giving mcpake scope to sign more players. He will only bring them down with his lethargic setup. Time to get someone in who knows what they are doing.

Change needed. Game went exactly how most of us expected it too.

No urgency, no pace, signings look awful, no further signing, turgid tactics, no goals, dreadful goalkeeper, no back up goalie with experience, captain and vice captain well off form….do I need to keep going?

Bye bye James and take Cook and his two money taking cronies with him 👍🏻

I wouldn’t want to imagine thinking Falkirk are going to turn up and give us a right doing. I’m hopeful we turn up and give them a doing, otherwise what is the point in going to games. That’s the problem with this forum, doom and gloom constantly. I’m looking forward to the game, and will back the team on a Saturday , regardless.

Doom and gloom or calling it as it’s seen?

Ohalloran, Wotherspoon and kane, none can go for 90mins because of age and injury basket cases, although kane was decent when coming on.

Btw Falkirk weren`t much better so they cannae bump their gums.

Gaz, you could include McCann in that, he’s only got 60mins of headless chicken in him. Oh and also wighton!

Todd the only player with any sort of engine to get up and down the park.

It’s a league 1 side in all but name just now.

If we don`t make change now we will drive away more fans and it will be hard to get them back ,

Change needed.

How anyone thinks McCann is a football player is beyond me yet he starts every week.

No other options?

C’mon Dave 1885, if we just clapped a bit more everything would turn out fine.

All his signings and not good enough. That’s on him.

I do agree with that. He has either signed or extended all the players and that is on the him. It may ultimately cost him his job.

But, I do think he has been hampered this preseason. If we’d been able to bring in 2 or 3 additional first team players (which every pars fan will agree we need) then we might be in a better position.

Most other teams in this league have strengthened their squad while we have gone backwards with Edwards, Jakubiak, Allan, MFW, MWH and Moffat leaving or returning to their parent club. They’ve been replaced with Ngwenya, Wotherspoon and youth players.

Sutherland looks a threat when coming from the bench but I’m not sure the other young players look ready to play in a struggling team.

If we do sack McPake I think the incoming manager will have to be given some funds to add signings or loans, which highlights the squad isn’t strong enough regardless.

I don’t think we have a pot to piss in. Mcpake wont be sacked just yet and we lack the funds to sign any additional players. We are stuck with this team and manager for the season ahead. The Germans won’t spend any additional cash, it’s not in their business model. They are ruining our club and we must let them know we want them gone.

Yes - IMO we are between a rock and a hard place with no clear solutions.

Listening to McPakes interview he’s well pissed off.

Great start to the season. This is going to be one hard slog.
