Just watched a free header at an open goal. Abysmal!!
If we can’t take a lesson from this game, especially about the “finer” points of the physical game. Then we should chuck it. They’ve given us a lesson. Lennon should re-run this game rubbing in the weak play, and then get a hard man in to stiffen them up.

Both teams have looked poor tbh but raith with that wee bit extra upfront. The pitch looks weird. Where is Bray? I`ve heard such good things about him. Not much else to say really. Bleak stuff with little to smile about.

Very disappointing. Always seems to be the same at Starks, they show up ready for a fight and the Pars just don`t get into it. Ref has been poor too at times. The lack of a solid forward option is hurting us obviously, plus a few going missing when it matters. New season, same outcome.

Forwards have never won one ball in the air but still we continue to punt the ball up to them on the positive side it could have been 5or 6

Came into it in the second half but the tactics were wrong and too many sloppy passes. I know I go on about it but that pitch is absolutely awful. Shouldn`t be allowed in the professional leagues.

Amade and Kearney to start next game based on that. Upgrade on Otoo and KRH.

Not many positives but the new boy at left back had a decent game, few good balls into the box too.

Like rabbits in the Stark`s Park floodlights again. Just copy and paste any comments from the last several seasons. Powderpuff boys up against strong men. Gilmour, Amade, Kearney and possibly Cáceres get maybe 6 or 7 out of 10 but the rest were terrible.

To be beat by a team who is better than you is one of these things but to be beat by a team who wanted to win more than you is unfogiveable

That’s got to be mullan’s worst performance in a pars shirt, looked rank amateur.

Hosler and boothe can expect to drop out of the team. Jefferson looks to have much better movement and pace than anyone else we have. Amade must start, will we ever sign a decent striker this summer?

Players looked like they didn’t believe tonight or if they did mullan killed it after 1 minute.

We need some men and leaders to come in, again we’re too nice and we shrink when it get physical.

So disappointing.

We`re a young team - in terms of players` ages, and time oor players have had together. Gonna take time to gel. Missed a couple of sitters. Let in two bad goals. Our resurgence isn`t gonna be a smooth progression - hard lessons today. Move on.

In this league you have to concentrate for 90 minutes and take your chances when you get them.

A reality check. Better sooner rather than later.

Would Deniz Mehmet have conceded the second goal?

John Tod was very decent. Oakley was off it. Would have hooked him for Amade at half time. Cooper was better than Andrew Tod. Paddy Peru looks a player.

Eastons goal was onside and McMullen should have scored his effort. We didn’t have any shots of note. We have nothing up front. Raith are better than us. We are still half a team away from being anywhere near good enough.

We have had all summer to address the lack of experience up front. We created very very little, the first half was an embarrassment.

Experience counts, and that`s where we fell short tonight. Raith had it in spades—Easton, Stevenson, McMullan, Byrne, Vaughan.

Not too many positives for us - so many poor first balls, slack passes, careless defensive moves. Our substitutions were necessary, but they came too late. At the very least, there should have been a midfield switch at half-time.

Kearney, Amade and Careres all made a difference when they came on, but it was all a bit late. Gilmour and Amade are a better pairing in midfield than Otoo and Oakley-Booth.

I thought Gilmour again was our best player, with Cooper a reasonable second, but outside of that, not a lot to cheer.

Is Andrew Tod going to be alright? He`ll need a trip to Vision Express but it must`ve been some knock to get the sports goggles off his head.

I think with the younger players, our results as the season goes on should improve. With the age of the Raith team, I think the opposite for them. It`s a poor performance, Raith stopped us playing any football until they tired a bit. We did not create any real chances, never turned defenders, or really put them under any pressure. Caraceres did that when he came on, but we need someone with him.
