I`m thinking we have, or we might have arranged the loan for the full season.
Of course, we expected Rudden to return by January, but we need another striker.
I heard a few weeks ago that the Argentinian striker playing in Italy that we tried to sign, but failed to get clearance on the last day, has now arrived.
Someone corroborate that but I haven`t heard any more about it.
If he is here I think he would be at least training with us.

I hope he goes back to Falkirk and actually gets a chance, and doesn`t sit on the sidelines. He is honestly just the nicest lad who deserves what he has achieved.

Heard the same about the Argie striker, but I`ve only seen mention of it via forums, so no idea of the validity of the info.

I think the player has the same fears as you do. That he will be a bit part player, where he knows game time at his age is the most important aspect. Warming a bench requires an Ally McCoist size personality if Falkirk were to use him as a backup.
From his first game, where I questioned his attitude to his teammates, incorrectly, to now, where is an important player in our team, shows the correct attitude, dedication, perseverance along with his Scotland call up, we can only wish him the best of luck and like many before who have moved on, he will hopefully remember the Pars fondly.

The way he turned around his time here, is testament to the lad and I honestly wish him well. Comes across as one of life’s good guys and although I would have liked to have seen him here longer, just wish him well.

Came across as a really nice guy as well as a good player.

What`s the deal with the Italian that`s seemingly hiding out in a flat somewhere in Dunfermline? Is he a striker?

He`s Argentinian. He was playing in Italy

Stewart was only brought in to cover the Rudden while he was injured. I think Rudden will be our main striker and we will bring in a back up.

Dare I say that one of our own strikers who is out on loan is due back in January.

I thought Barney and Rudden together up front looked a real handful on Saturday. Gutted to hear he`s gong back to Falkirk but understandable. Barney`s been brilliant for us ... probably the most unlikely loan signing ever, but definitely one of the best.

I’ve heard of 3 or 4 coming in this month alongside a few fringe players leaving.

A proper dark horse loan signing who has looked very accomplished given the limited Football he has played at this level. Wish the bloke all the best, comes across as thoroughly genuine and I`ve no doubt he`ll have a good career if not at Falkirk somewhere else.

I’ve a feeling that Stewart will be at Falkirk until at least the end of January. Falkirk are probably needing him for cover until they perhaps get bodies in. I think the lad wants to stay and I think the club and the fans do too.

Listening to Lennon interview, I don’t think the door’s closed on Barney staying and I think it’s looking like more players coming in in January.
He was more upfront in his criticism of our first half display on Saturday which regardless of team selection was unacceptable in terms of basic football management on the field.

You would have got long odds at the start of this season against Barney becoming one of DUNFERMLINE`s top goalscorers and being capped twice for Scotland U21s.

It`s been an outstanding loan that has proved to be a winner for both clubs and for the player. He`s now going to get his chance to show what he can do in the Premiership, and I`m sure all Pars fans wish him well.

PS The odds are also very high against Falkirk meeting Pars in the play-offs, but if they do then I hope Barney has the flu that day ...

Even with my black and white tinted glasses on I see no danger of Falkirk being anywhere near the playoffs. Unless something very dramatic happens, it`s between Livingston, Kilmarnock and Dundee.

It’s Oliver Burke we should be seriously considering……….

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

I`d agree, may not be the most technical but he`s still fast and athletic. Would give us something very different up front. I`d want Gauld called up too for some creativity

Thanks for everything Barney. The best loan signing I’ve ever seen play for the Pars. Knock one past the Rovers as a leaving present please & all the best for the future!
