Option for a further year. He wont be back at EEP unless we play them in the league or cup next season. Cant blame him for extending. Gices him syability and a pay rise no doubt.

No brainer for Barney, long term deal and more cash.

When he first joined Falkirk, he wasn’t actually training with them full time as they allowed him to finish his studies, so suppose he was still on that original contract till today, possibly part time wages. He was a shroud signing for us, wage wouldn’t have been much n he produced the goods.

On another note, Mcglynn would be off his rocker to go to Aberdeen at his age, he’s got something good going at Falkirk.

Well if he`s signed an extension with that lot, he`s a Gen Z George O`Boyle to me now.

A shroud signing? Might be on his way to Turin then for Juve or Torino?

I think McGlynn has done a good job but that might be as far as he can take Falkirk, if they stagnate or go backwards it`ll not be long until the fans want rid of him, so might be better going for the Aberdeen job, if it`s open to him

Discussion on Radio Scotland on Saturday about the Aberdeen job suggested John McGlynn might not like the management model there as the team manager doesn`t have sole input re transfers which is the system at Falkirk.

He was never brilliant, but had the knack of being in right place at right time, just what you want!
