184. Author: Ahoy!Ahoy! Date: Tue 20th Jan 2026. 18:09 Kane will be given 10mins here and there for the remainder of the season due to injuries. That leaves us with just Rudden and Thomas as out and out strikers. Go get Oli Shaw, the boy knows where the net is and has the strikers instinct we need to sniff a goal out. Reply
185. Author: wee eck Date: Tue 20th Jan 2026. 18:19 Are you his agent? You never stop going on about him. Some of us wonder why there doesn`t seem to be much interest in him despite Hamilton being skint. Reply
186. Author: Ahoy!Ahoy! Date: Tue 20th Jan 2026. 18:52 I’ve mentioned him in about 3 posts lately. I never knew there was limits on what you can say. How do you know there hasn’t been much interest in him? Are you his agent? What are the topics I’m allowed to discuss? Post Edited (Tue 20 Jan 18:53) Reply
187. Author: wee eck Date: Tue 20th Jan 2026. 19:01 Where did I say you couldn`t discuss certain topics? We all go by the rumour mill and I haven`t seen any mentions of interest in him in the football media. Reply

189. Author: Indiapar1 Date: Tue 20th Jan 2026. 20:29 We were rumoured to be interested in Olly Shaw. The press reported that he was the highest paid player at Hamilton. He was left out of the squad against Peterhead, rumoured to be due to interests from other clubs The challenge may be salary fitting with our wage structure, who knows. No doubt Hamilton are looking at their players and salaries with ways of reducing costs. NL rated him highly in the past, but it looks like he hasn`t fulfilled his potential. Shaw stated previously NL was his mentor. There is a connection there but the acid test is would he do a job for us and does he want to kick start his career. If so, in terms of money, sometimes you have to take a step back to take a step forward. At 27 he has 3 good years in front of him. G Wardrope Reply
190. Author: Jeffery Date: Tue 20th Jan 2026. 21:18 It feels like I`ve been mentioning Shaw every transfer window for years so would be pleased if it happened. 😂 I do think though that St Johnstone might be more likely given they are in a stronger position to be promoted. He`d have the chance to go from L1 to the premiership. I`m a bit surprised the Rovers aren`t looking at Shaw. They are absolute dross up front. Can only assume the wages are too high. Reply

192. Author: NMCmassive Date: Tue 20th Jan 2026. 22:13 Yeah Olí Shaw to Dunfermline seems to be the hot topic in the rumour mill. Not sure if it’s the correct rumour mill but it’s certainly in a rumour mill. COYP Reply

195. Author: NMCmassive Date: Tue 20th Jan 2026. 23:02 I’ve always thought of Olí Shaw as a classic type of 9 and Morrison more as an attacking wide man/winger. It looks to me like we’ve got Rudden, Thomas and A Tod who can play upfront in different roles. IMO we could have space for an Olí Shaw. COYP Reply

197. Author: Indiapar1 Date: Wed 21st Jan 2026. 18:44 I think given he came back from Barnsley to Hamilton it was more about money than career. Other clubs may not have been willing to meet his salary. St J seem to have been favourites to sign him up but I wonder where that sits now. G Wardrope Reply

200. Author: summeragent Date: Thu 22nd Jan 2026. 12:51 So much talk about Oli Shaw but I would really like to think that NL and the owners are looking at players a step up from league one. We also have Conner Young on loan who was prolific for Edinburgh City who still has to develop. Hopefully he will have matured and be a good addition to the first team next season. Reply
