Lennon talking after Thomas signing

“I think we’re well stocked there now. We’re looking at a central defender position and maybe a midfield player as well. It may happen, it may not.”

So we just need Hardie and Rutkiewicz Mk2...easy 😂

not signing Robinson as a striker and we have too many no10s as it is, he wont be the last Hamilton player to leave them with the new owner talking about massive cutbacks asap.

a line from the video interview with Lennon "think its always important to make room in the squad if we are going to do any more business in January which we are hoping to do"

Here`s an interesting snippet from the Record`s Transfer news -

`Falkirk are set to sign Newcastle United striker Ben Parkinson. The Bairns have agreed a deal with the English Premier League side. The 20-year-old will move to John McGlynn’s side on a permanent basis.

Falkirk chief scout Allan Fraser has brought Parkinson to the table. He also has a close relationship with Newcastle sporting director Ross Wilson, who started off with the Bairns. That has helped the Premiership League new boys to get a deal concluded. United also didn’t want to hold Parkinson back.`

It`ll be interesting to see how that affects Barney Stewart`s game time.

It probably won`t, they had a boy on loan who they sent back so just 1 for 1 really.

as part of the co-operation agreement with Bo`Ness, Alasdair Davidson`s loan has been added to that so the option is there for both players to be recalled at any point if they are needed here in any game.

I imagine the £1m they were supposedly demanding for Hale in the summer has taken a hit!

Really not surprised. Really hope Ross County don’t stand in his way.

Declan? An interesting thought. Although it`s a while since he`s been here, he`s only 31 and the sort of player we could do with at the moment. someone who puts himself about, knows how to find space, and score goals. He`s certainly got heaps of experience.

Not player news but Barry Robson has been announced as manager of Cork City. Cork were just relegated to the Irish second tier so he`ll be expected to win promotion.

Seems like the rumour about the Italian league striker already being here was wrong.
