How do the Aussies look so quick and threatening going forward when we don’t? Are we saying that Jackson Irvines a better player than John McGinn?
Because they have the players to do it and we don`t. McGinn was mince at both Euro 2024 and the 2026 World Cup.
McGinn has been an enigma for about 5 years for Scotland IMHO

^^^^ Only because they are set-up defensively from kick-off.
We set up the same for basically every game in qualifying. They are our big time players who didn`t turn up when required on the big stage.

If the Sebastien Pocognoli rumour is correct it’ll go down as a master stroke of genius or be an absolute disaster.
What on earth has he done so far in his managerial career to persuade anyone he’s an international team coach for a World Cup level team ( yes Scotland )?
