Trump is an absolute lunatic.

But so are the Islamists running Iran. The majority of Iranians would find Oz`s claims above about the current state of their country as hilarious, delusional and insulting.

Thankfully, neither the Cheeto nor the Mullahs have the majority support of their people. Neither will be willing to blink first as to do so would be a massive loss of face.

The sad reality is, however, that Western societies such as the US have room for discourse and critique of Government in a manner that Theocratic regimes do not.

The US will have quite diminished supplies, but the Iranian Theocratic regime would be absolutely foolish to think they can stand up to a proper US and Israeli onslaught. Even if you ended up with the Mullahs trying an Afghanistan/Taliban-esque approach in the aftermath, you'd end up with Iranians taking it upon themselves to deal with it.

The best outcome is a collapse of the Iranian Islamist regime followed by the impeachment, trial and imprisonment of said Cheeto. And his pal Bibi for that matter.

Just waiting on the “breaking news” alert when we wake up stating that Israel, with the US backing, has dropped 3-4 nukes on major Iranian cities and power infrastructure.

He wont do it himself, although theres every chance.

There`s no going to be any nukes dropped! The day after that happens then the Russians drop one on Ukraine. The Americans could blackout Iran with a a couple of dozen tomahawk strikes if they are so inclined.

Trump agrees to ceasefire with Iran
Donald Trump will “suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks” following conversations with Pakistani leaders.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote that he had agreed to this “double sided CEASEFIRE” because the United States has “already met and exceeded all Military objectives, and are very far along with a definitive Agreement concerning Longterm PEACE with Iran, and PEACE in the Middle East.”

Trump said Pakistani prime minister Shehbaz Sharif and field marshal Asim Munir had brokered the agreement.

TACO?

Nice summing-up from the Spanish PM Pedro Sanchez -

`Ceasefires are always good news - especially if they lead to a just and lasting peace. But this momentary relief cannot make us forget the chaos, the destruction, and the lives lost.

The Spanish government will not applaud those who set the world on fire just because they show up with a bucket.

What’s needed now are diplomacy, international legality, and PEACE`.

Drove past Prestwick airport on my way home from Ayr this morning and saw three very large military aircraft. Presumably part of the Orange Baboons USAF preparing for missions to bomb Iran….

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Heading back home with their tails between their legs more like.

Not a single objective did the Yanks actually achieve for Israel.

Well done Iran for a well deserved victory.

This ceasefire wont last 2 weeks - be lucky if it lasts 2 days. Already reports of strikes in Southern Iran and other states, and Iran have stated that if Israel bomb Lebanon it’s a direct breach of the ceasefire.

Along with threatening to bomb any ships passing through the Strait without paying £2m per passage, it could get heated again quite quickly.

Trumps had an absolute mare with this whole debacle now too.

Yeah by all accounts Iran have been bombing Qatari and Saudi energy infrastructure earlier today.

It`s more likely that the bombers today were the same country that murdered JFK, brought the Twin Towers down, and are bombing Lebanon 🇱🇧 right now.

Cut out that A-S nonsense, TOWK. People are sick and tired of seeing criticism of Israel being merged with A-S. It is the defence of someone who has a weak argument.

So saying that Israel was behind the JFK assassination and 9/11 is legitimate criticism aye? Nah is anti semitism plain and simple and I`ll continue to call it out whenever it`s uttered. Loads of things you can criticise Israel for but when you delve into the well worn anti Semitic tropes of Jews being the shadowy figures behind world events then it`s being done with only one intent in mind.

And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed
