45 minutes and they break for lunch. What are they on.
Could they not have eaten when the computers were down.
Absolutely ridiculous.

Fair point

The petitioners want the lease for Pitreavie and say they have the funds available to pay off rent arrears to Fife Council and other debts.

Sorry for being daft here, but if they want it and the club don't then why can they not just sign it over?

Petitioners argued BDO want rid of the lease and they want it - they don't see problem.

So is it, in reality, up to Fife Council whether they want to sell it or not!? If so, surely they'd take the money...? :(

We didnt want to take on Pitreavie anyway?

EDIT - I think this may all be utter nonsense! Will leave it for posterity though:

[s]I think it's because Fife council hold the lease and we are the 'tenants' - we want to get out of being the tenants, which FC will agree to, but GM (et al) won't. They want to become our landlords and hold us to the lease (which we can't afford).

I think...[/s]

Normal court procedure Sabino.
Every other case proceeding this one will be running late / postponed. A sheriff's / acting solicitors' nightmare never mind the clients.

@carasulieman: Petitioners say lease being renounced is not a condition of the Pars Utd offer or the CVA.

By the sounds of it... GM doesnt care if we use Pitreavie or not, he just doesnt want the council ripping up the agreement?

Also he is concerned about his pension fund, which is tied in with the lease I think

Petitioners told court in the CVA, the leasehold is valued as £143,266 but they have separate valuation of over £600,000.

@carasulieman: Petitioner also said Fife Council hadn't been asked if the lease could be renounced until Weds and it would take 7 days to decide.

Interesting

Fife Council have a representative at court in case the judge has any questions for them.

Masterton finding someone to massively overvalue an asset? Not seen that one before . . .

Pitreavie 20-20 is the company which would take over the leasehold from BDO if granted.

What will happen to Pars Foundation and SoccerSevens? I know they arent part of the club, but they do benfit the wider Pars community?
