Switzerland isn't just a random location for him to travel back and forth from.

If SP is correct, and GM wants to be our landlord, and plays hardball with us, the big question for me is what happens if we default on that lease... what penalties are in the lease contract to cover that eventuality???

I doubt he would be able to secure that cash himself.

Maybe check the owershp of pitreavie 2020 limited would be a start

The daft auld bat thinks he can build houses on Pitreavie. That is his only interest as far as I'm concerned. I absolutely loathe him.

Pretty sure in that instance, although we wouldnt be paying rent, the landlord is still entitled to chase the tenant for any costs relating to the condition of the property, should the lease state so. This seems to be the bigger issue rather than the actual payment of rent.

if we still have a lease in place with him then he will demand the money owed to him, even if we train there or not

Companies House says that Pitreavie 20 20 is HQ'd in Kirkcaldy and formed on 10/09/2013

If he wants the lease and we don't then are we bound by anything or free to choose?

I thought that Andrew Carnegie gited the land to the people of Dunfermline - so it can't be built on?

He has obviously never read the planning permission notice on the place then.

Essentially, Petitioners Charlston Holdings (IMasterton) say the lease on Pitreavie was NOT mentioned in CVA agreement or condition of sale

They (Masterton) want the lease to transfer to them, leaving BDO to proceed with Pars Utd. And say they can pay rent arrears immediately.

Cheers Honk - you've backed up my thinking a bit. Couldn't understand why he'd want the ground for anything other than houses. I'd imagine the council would be accommodating if they were getting their cash as well?

What I don't understand is why there's an issue? He wants the lease, we don't...the council are told they'll get their cash (ahem!)...am i missing something?? Is it that we want the lease ripped up and a new one granted but GM doesn't as he wants to build down there?

Oh the irony in wee Penfold wanting DAFC to pay rent!

Unpaid rent and bills seemed to feature heavily in the mess he left at East End.

Same old same old. Money miraculously appears as the business makes a loss.

Doesn't anyone check financial history backgrounds anymore?
