44. Author: CitizenPar Date: Mon 12th May 2025. 13:01 I accidentally stumbled upon the GlasgowWorld website and they specified that Neil Lennon himself was in contract talks with Victor Wanyama. All the signs that NL is staying seem to be quite positive, so here`s hoping this week will bring some good news. Reply |

50. Author: kelty_par Date: Mon 12th May 2025. 18:19 "Killie are not exactly awash with cash. What makes you think they can offer Lennon a bigger salary and budget than the Pars can?" C`mon GG, you`re better than that. Not only is the Kilmarnock owner very wealthy, they have managed to get in quite a number of big name managerial appointments in recent years - Clarke, Wright and McInnes to name three - and they`ll be paying a very competitive salary. They`ve had one season out of the top flight in recent memory, plenty of European football and big gates v the Old Firm. Even if that wasn`t true, apart from that blip when they came down, they are an established Premiership club. I don`t think they will be after Lennon but to suggest we`re a better option presently is looking at things with Pars glasses on. Reply |

I must admit that it makes me feel a little bit nervous after what happened in 2013. 😱 ![]() Not your average Sunday League player. Post Edited (Mon 12 May 18:48) Reply |

57. Author: Indiapar1 Date: Mon 12th May 2025. 20:38 I would have thought there would have been some sort of preliminary agreement when NL came in. I think one aspect of that would have been keeping us in the championship. The benefit of the short-term deal as it appears to me was the ability of either party to walk away. The current negotiation, as I would see it, would be about the next steps in terms of NL`s role in the club going forward and what he believes needs to happen and how much needs to be invested. I believe the intent is for the club to develop players in addition to probably strengthening the squad, hence the players that have departed to date. Personally I think Subject to the conditions being agreed NL will be the manager next year. I think as a club we have great potential and what better way to demonstrate your managerial abilities and software analytics. Together there is potential there to develop a club that can punch above its weight. G Wardrope Reply |
