Lennons deal may already be signed and will be announced once he’s back from holiday.

I am sure the announcement will come in the fullness of time. It`s one thing making an announcement. It`s another to be working in the background to get the right structure and systems in place. I would suspect that once everything has been lined up, an announcement will be made. It`s good that NL and his team have enjoyed it at EEP. that`s the prerequisite for any job that you want to excel at. As a club as a whole It`s been a difficult season, but like everything, there are things to learn from that. It`s a different type of challenge, but sometimes you learn things about yourself as a result. Hopefully, for the younger players, they will have done that and also those other players who will be staying on. On VW, I think he will have something to offer both on and off the park. He`s been there done it and bought the T shirt. Personally, I never underestimate the value of experience.

I very much doubt NL will be going to killie… but your hardly a panic merchant to note the fact that, publicly we haven’t announced NL as our manager for next year, a team a league above is now seeking a manager and that in the ether, NL’s name is now being mentioned in the same sentence?

I’m sure it’s just a timing thing, but can understand people getting a little anxious given the backdrop

Just to add, an early announcement would also give fans a bit of much needed excitement/optimism given the $hit£ season we`ve just had.

Indiapar on VW it purely depends on what your paying him. If it’s like £1k a week it’s absolutely worth it for what he can bring to the team on and off the park. If it’s £3k it expensive and at this point unjustified until he shows he can get his fitness levels up to be competitive in this league.

I guess it depends on the wage budget, I think we’ll be paying good money but I didn’t expect we’ll be paying very big amounts for this league and it needs to be sensible spending, can’t see bord wanting lose millions every year.

Think Neil Lennon signing on is inevitable, all his previous interviews indicate that he was going to stay around next season.

I wouldn’t have said it before Bord but think Dunfermline are a more exciting proposition than any other clubs available in Scottish football at the moment, not to say he was ever to be considered but the Falkirk gig (had MGlynn gone) would never work out well, you can only do so much with a team like Kilmarnock, Steve Clarke took them as far as I think they can go.

Dunfermline are in a good spot, he has the opportunity to build his own team with (if it’s to be believed) a nice war chest of funds so would be seeing us challenging for the title, and I don’t think the ambition would stop there if we got up.

I lived in Ayrshire for four years and always had the impression that anything Celtic related didn`t go down too well, so I would very much doubt the prospect of NL signing for Killie.

When I lived in Ayrshire, Tommy McLean played for Killie so it wasn`t exactly yesterday. Perhaps it was just a case of everyone I knew or met was either a Killie or Rangers fan.

Clarke took Killie to 3rd in the league, were challenging at the top until around February and his record against the former OF was W6, D6, L6.

If Lennon, or anyone, takes us as far as we can go and it matches that, I`d bite your hand off.

Killie lay down to Celtic on the final day of the season not so long ago….. looked as if they preferred the green half of Glasgow to win the league that day.
Gers still won it though…can’t remember who “ lay down “ to them that day…

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

I’ll not be getting worried until Lennon is odds on favourite for the Killie (or any other) job.

BET365 have speculated a few names but Lennon is not one of them.

Would like to see him announced as our manager sooner rather than later.

If one of the reasons he`s not been announced as the new manager because he is currently on holiday that`s got to be a good thing in my eye`s that means he`s going to have a good 4 or 5 weeks before pre season starts.
