Bit concerned how long this is taking. We really need to hit the ground running this close season, more than ever.

Apparently Neil Lennon is on holiday. Back soon. Think we’ll see an announcement later in the week with a couple of new signings shortly after.

Lanza John wouldn`t go on holiday when his club needed him 😂

The Sun are saying Steven Naismith may be in the frame for the Killie job - being an ex-player of course - if Derek McInnes joins Hearts.

Want this over the line now. Need to get a move on for players he wants before we miss out like last year.

Been told there is a concrete offer on the table for Moult but unsure if he will make the move as personal circumstances may see him move back down south.

The season isn`t even finished yet, and the window is closed. We have plenty time.

The Courier is saying discussions with those with whom the club is `in dialogue` have been temporarily suspended as players are taking their close season break. That may apply to NL too of course.

Meanwhile local lad and Pars` fan, Lucas Fyfe, has been signed on a two-year apprenticeship.

He needs to get his LinkedIn page updated.🤣 `I am currently looking for new challenges ` and no sign of us on there.

Derek McInnes`s latest comments suggest he`s on his way to Hearts although he`ll see out this season with Killie. Their fans don`t seem that keen on the prospect of Naismith being their next manager and NL is being mentioned.

I could see McInnes getting the Trent Alexander Arnold treatment if he stays for the last 2 games? Wouldn`t be surprised if Chris Burke took them for the rest of the season?

Yeah, I wondered if Killie would do “a Tidser” on him and send him off on gardening leave for the final 2 games.

Killie`s last game is on Sunday...at home to Hearts!

No chance they will let him take that game. There’s a bit of money at stake with league positioning

Be surprised if the deal is struck by Sunday for McInnes, and if it is would be shocked if it’s unveiled before then. Dialogue only started today between club and him. Both their seasons are effectively done (bar some prize money), so doubt either set of fans will care that much.

He agreed a deal today and all done. Part of it is he’s staying for final 2 games at Kilmarnock

Has it? Thought that was all just paper chat from news outlets so far. Only news articles say that Hearts and Killie have agreed a deal, nothing confirming any deal has been signed.

While moult is a good player he’s 33 tomorrow so hopefully he’s still got the legs and it’s perhaps just a 1 year deal.

Only played in 18 games last season too due to various injuries. Kane playing in more games than that.

McInness has been approached but there are other names in the frame.

He was at Tynecastie last week and agreed a deal.

If you watch his post match interview from Saturday then you’d believe otherwise. Completely refutes it.

As I said, deal was agreed last week. Only thing left was compensation.

He wouldn’t have wanted to admit he’d agreed to go in case the clubs could not reach an agreement

It`s bloody tough being a legend

Honestly think he’s a fantastic appointment for Hearts, and a really good fit. He’ll get them back to competing for 3rd spot again I’m sure

The focus has now switched to who will take over at Killie with Steven Naismith still favourite apparently and Chris Burke in his team. I wish we would get our position sorted and end any speculation about NL.
