Their new permanent manager could do a lot worse than get him in and tell him how great he is, how he`d be their `main striker` and that he`ll be fed by Aiden Fitzpatrick, Logan Chalmers, Steven Lawless, and Kyle Turner. He`d absolutely score goals there. Reply |
83. Author: thebear Date: Wed 4th Jun 2025. 21:12 We simply need 2 or 3 forwards who won`t panic and can kick a ball properly. Kane OK, but injury prone young maybe ok but still to prove himself Mcann no comment or it will start an anti mcann rant Reply |

He gave 💯 in a team with the most negative set up for years under previous managers and in some eyes, looked like a headless chicken but in reality wasn’t given enough ammunition. 86. Author: cammypar 1995 Date: Thu 5th Jun 2025. 07:06 I think if he had chipped in with 100 assists, there wouldn’t be much debate around him, but the reality is, he hasn’t. Yes, he puts in a shift more often than not, and you can’t fault the work rate. But unfortunately, hard work alone doesn’t always cut it at this level. Without that extra bit of quality, especially in the final third, you eventually get found out. I genuinely think most fans were hoping he’d kick on and have one of those purple patches all good strikers seem to hit at some point, push us up the table, and maybe even earn a move to a club looking for a goal scorer. But if we’re being honest, it never quite felt like that moment was coming. If he’s decided to move on (and I do think it’s probably the right time for both sides), I’ve got no hard feelings. I wish him all the best wherever he ends up. Hopefully a fresh start helps him find that form once he comes back from injury. c'mon the pars Reply |

93. Author: Athletico Date: Thu 5th Jun 2025. 10:37 Pretty sure Cooper`s deal was done weeks ago, with Hamiltons. The fact that Hamilton walked out onto a green pitch and not the Sahara desert is proof of how long ago that deal was signed. Reply |
94. Author: Buster_Brown Date: Thu 5th Jun 2025. 10:47 I’m neither up nor down about the news. He’s a player who makes an impact — albeit usually off the bench — and always looks lively when he comes on, like he might make something happen. What we really need is for him to start producing that kind of form from the start of games, and more consistently. If he can manage that, he’s definitely an asset. Time’s on his side, and clearly NL sees something he can work with, so I’m looking forward to seeing what he can produce this season. He seems like a good guy who puts in a real shift, so I genuinely hope it goes well for him. Reply |
95. Author: Athletico Date: Thu 5th Jun 2025. 10:55 He`s only 22, and this season was his first in mens full time football. I think he can play a big part going forward. Reply |

97. Author: Bertie Paton Date: Thu 5th Jun 2025. 11:29 It`s looking like quite a big squad we will be going with next season. Our squad was under sized under GMBH though. I also think it`s going to be harder for academy players getting near the first team. Guys like Sam Young and Taylor Sutherland will have to go out on loan as they won`t be first team anymore. Lennon still has these ``quality`` signings to make too. Reply |
98. Author: wee eck Date: Thu 5th Jun 2025. 11:33 Aren`t most players `squad players` considering you can only start 11 and most teams name at least 7 subs of whom only up to 5 can play? You then need around another 6 to cover for injuries or other absences. Reply |
99. Author: GJS93 Date: Thu 5th Jun 2025. 11:36 Lennon the other day.... "“When I look at the youth players that we have as well, they’ve done really well over the last couple of years, so we want to develop them and produce some of our home-grown players.” "Aren`t most players `squad players` considering you can only start 11" and our starting 11 is not good enough and for the last few years has looked like it has needed at least another player in it, re-signing these players will not improve the starting 11 with what is already under contract and no matter who is signed which also is then limited because of the amount of players under contract. 100. Author: Bertie Paton Date: Thu 5th Jun 2025. 11:47 Taylor Sutherland needs to go to league two and score goals down there before he gets in the Pars team. Connor Young was banging them in down there and I think Sutherland scored 1 for Clyde. Sam young couldn`t get a regular game at Forfar. These guys need to show more in their loan spells if they want to make it here in the first team. Still time to do that though. Post Edited (Thu 05 Jun 11:48) Reply |
