They were prepared to be arrested without resisting. A half dozen police officers were able to haul them into the back of a van without much fuss. While I certainly didn`t agree with their method of protest, fair play to them for willing to take the consequences on the chin. I doubt the balaclava wearing crowd on Saturday would have allowed themselves to be detained so easily. Hopefully next time the police grow a pair and enforce the law.
