I`m actually getting used to Italy failing to make the WC finals. Italy`s last appearance was Brazil 2014, and they contrived to be eliminated (along with England 😁) by Uruguay and Costa Rica - something I predicted on this forum. This year, I still have Scotland to support. Hopefully, we`ll finally get out of the group.... 🤞 You also predicted Brazil would destroy Germany though. You`ve got a decent memory, Aaron, but I`m pretty certain I didn`t use the word "destroy", although I did think that, with home advantage, Brazil would have gone through. Their main man at the back, Thiago Silva, lost his discipline when the Germans took the lead and started playing as a striker, with catastrophic results. Eta. It all appealed to me so much, and I just could not turn this down.I’ll look to bring a lot of energy, drive and quality in the final third. I want to produce moments that help the team win games.I’ve seen the quality within the squad already and I know I’ll need to hit the ground running in pre-season to get in the gaffer’s plans straight away.` Reply

Bollocks I think whatever NL said or did clearly worked for him, so it had a positive outcome for him. Different people are motivated in different ways and NL seems to have the knack of finding that.
