It was hot, it was really humid and there was a lot of cardiovascular work, a lot of physical work. I’m really pleased with the way the staff have integrated and the way the players have adapted to what we’ve asked of them.”
The trip proved valuable beyond just the physical preparation, with team bonding being a key focus.

Here are the two important comments for me:-

“There was a lot of physical work”.

“Team bonding being a focus”

Players signed between now and the first league game have missed out on this. It’s not ideal at all for a manager.

Lovely trick by new signing Zeke Cameron while at Cowdenbeath.

Probably been shared before but first of me seeing it.

Agree. The main benefit of that trip would`ve been integrating new players. I think we certainly hoped to have a few more in before then and it`s not gone to plan.

Is there a chance that some of the targets may have been training with us already awaiting the announcement/confirmations?

Obviously all new signings will have missed the opportunities already experienced but it shouldn`t take too long to get up to speed.

Will he save it? Save it??? He never bloody saw it! Like a bullet!

3 potential signings are known to have been training with the club 2 we know were in Bulgaria.

Would be good to get those and some more over the line soon!

Another day comes and goes.

Just any signing would be nice.

I’m honestly starting to feel a tad uneasy. We’re just four weeks out from our first league match, and it’s still pretty much the same squad that’s battled relegation two years in a row. Even more pressing, only two weeks until the cup game against Hearts, and you know Lennon will be desperate to make a statement.

Cook talked about bringing in the kind of players who’ll push us forward, but right now, that ambition isn’t reflected on the pitch, or in the squad list. I don’t think season ticket sales are great either, with fans likely holding off until they see real evidence the club means business.

I keep telling myself they’re saving something big for the open day, maybe a few headline signings revealed with a bit of fanfare. That’s what I’m clinging to at the moment. I just hope the club backs the words with action.

Agree. It’s certainly looking grim. I also have doubts about some of the players we’ve resigned. Time will tell I suppose.

We’re doomed! Doomed! I tell you.

However I do agree, it isn’t great, but I forever hold out hope.
My thoughts are we need to give the guys a chance in the new season as they are a year older, wiser to the league and confidence is a wonderful thing.
The main thing is the words excited the fans and the delivery so far doesn’t match those words, but we still have to play a competitive game, so let’s see how it pans out.

Whatever way you spin it , this hasn`t been good . Absolutely nothing to excite the fans since Lennon signed his deal.
10 days away from a televised cup game , and our squad looks little different from last seasons s**t show . Even if we do unveil a decent signing on Friday, they`re not exactly going to be integrated with the rest of the guys . Think the PR guys have had an absolute nightmare . AGAIN !

I’ve stayed fairly positive throughout the off-season, but today I’ve really started to feel frustrated by the lack of quality, both within the current squad and in terms of new signings. We’ve definitely got some exciting young talent in the ranks, Andy Tod, Connor Young, and the new lad Keith Bray, but the lack of attacking depth and still no back-up keeper is concerning. When Lennon came in, I saw it as a real statement of intent from the club, a sign we were aiming higher. But since his arrival, I’ve seen little to suggest next season will be any different.

Season Ticket sales are reflective of the squad. A couple of good signings early would have been great for numbers but since we’ve been basically lied to by the Germans for 7 years I get the feeling a lot of Pars fans just aren’t taking BS anymore.

As soon as they sort the squad out and get a few good results, the fans will come

Most of the same gash squad as recent years. I seriously hope we add some quality soon. Haven`t enjoyed our play since Crawford

I`ve hacked into dot net to install a filter. Now instead of seeing all comments, it shows as either `news` which I click on to view, `arguments` `small talk` or ` Wah Wah Wah` with a picture of a crying baby. This computing ingenuity is a joy to behold.
