Oh I dunno, Newcastle were a good watch last season and had a good season scoring plenty of goals and still have that squad

We’re facing another season of dross as it stands…

Newcastle complaining of a `Saudi` tax. please pass me the world`s smallest violin.

proof that football fans will whinge about anything? Would they want the Saudi owners to leave and head back to Mike Ashley ownership....doubt it very much.

Newcastle win a trophy last year. We struggled to win a game.

"It`s pretty clear most clubs are still finalising their squads and this tends to have a domino effect down the Leagues, especially if you`re trying to recruit quality players"

other clubs seem to know what the market is, have players identified and are signing the "quality" they believe is needed with what appears to be little problem.

Ross County 7, StJohnstone 6, Queens Park 6, Ayr and Raith 5 each.

The only one who attracted real envy on this forum was Declan Gallacher, I think, with a few mentioning Dom Thomas, though often with reservations based on his previous history with us.

The worrying thing is, Ayr, raith, RC and StJ all started the window with stronger squads than us and have strengthened. As things stand we are far behind them. I’m hoping we get quality in quickly.

Our squad as it stands is even worse than the one that finished the season and we all know how bad that team was.
100% agree with Raymie, stop making excuses and start to get stuff sorted, already behind where we should be at this stage!

I had hung my hopes on a transfer announcement to coincide with the strip launch which is no longer happening 🤦🏻‍♂️

I'm sure quality will come in. There are issues beyond our understanding that can govern timing. We are left to ponder and fret if we so choose.

The problem with the forum under these circumstances, is a plethera of repetitive posts with nothing new to read.
Limited action means limited comments.

It is boring the tits off me though. Reading the same comment from the same people over and over again

I hope something happens soon and we can change the tune.

OF THE PLAYERS I KNOW, he’s the only one that has joined a Championship club that I am envious of. Ok, had we of signed Thomas and Tumilty, I would have said they were decent additions but I’m not bothered that we didn’t.

For me, it’s seeing where we are when we finish the window, rather than being annoyed now. Plenty of opportunities to bring in quality or it could be another window where we don’t. No point in losing our sh-t when there’s still about 2 months to go.

Dane Murray would be a great loan signing. He was a standout for Queens Park.

You look at the players the other teams have signed, not much we have missed out on. Wouldn`t have minded Dec Gallagher and Ross Docherty, but they are both getting on a bit as well, so not too fussed about them either. I wouldn`t be bothered about being landed with some of the other players that have been signed.

We`ve got Charlie Gilmour, Keith Bray and youngster Zeke Cameron. It`s a start, I`m sure there will be more quality coming in

We will be fighting relegation again.

Slowly losing confidence on all fronts everything just seems amateurish just now. Delays to season cards, strips cancelling kit launch.

Feel good factor is defo on the turn if not already lost.
