We have always had free speech but on the basis that what you say is acceptable. The issue we seem to have now is people aren`t clear on what is and is not acceptable and it`s reached a point where people end up feeling they can`t say anything. Look at what is currently happening at NHS Fife. A doctor has complained because a nurse said they weren`t comfortable changing in front of them. This case has been going on for a couple of weeks now. So you have a doctor who was offended calling for a nurse to be sacked and a nurse being offended that the doctor is offended. In my eyes the nurses views are a touch ignorant, but it she felt uncomfortable then I see no reason to stop her highlighting this. We need to get back to just stating the facts instead of skirting around an issue. Reply |

The stance Trump is taking will obviously be to long term disadvantage of the USA but short term it`s their world. The way Zelenski was treated at the press conference was appalling. An absolute stitch up. Being asked why he doesn`t wear a suit? He`s the commander and chief of a nation fighting an actual hot war whose troops are fighting and dying everyday. The Ukrainian leader showed courage and integrity under such hostile pressure, just the thing leaders should be made of but the maga media will crucify him yet laud Putin.
