263. Author: Ahoy!Ahoy! Date: Wed 27th Aug 2025. 07:34 Here’s the backup brigade coming along. Let’s just slag folk off and call them thick and unable to think because they didn’t like the reply you gave to their “mate”. Isn’t it ironic that you’re doing what Coventrypar is asking everyone else to stop doing. (Ps: no doubt it’ll be laughed off and more will join in the defence) Reply |

269. Author: SeasonedPar Date: Wed 27th Aug 2025. 11:43 Have to agree with you Bear. It started as a speculative thread about a new striker, then, all too often on here, goes off in another direction. Having a go at an ex-player by suggesting he’ll “struggle” at his new club is pretty low. Might be better to say nothing than have a cheap dig. Good luck to Lewis at his new club. Reply |

273. Author: parsmad68 Date: Wed 27th Aug 2025. 12:43 Some tough games in the coming weeks including Barrow, Colchester and Cambridge. I am sure you will get on well and will be looking out for Fleetwood now especially against my League 2 team, Colchester United. Mon the U’s. Hope you score a Barrow load this weekend and enjoy your time as well as be successful. Reply |

275. Author: NMCmassive Date: Wed 27th Aug 2025. 13:05 It’s a negative comment but calling it “abusive” is a bit ridiculous. Honestly wouldn’t have expected anything less from the herd driven bandwagon though. I just see you lot banding together and exaggerating his comments as individual weakness. It’s like you’ve got an internal need for confirmation from a largely anonymous group for some strange back patting exercise that must feel like social conformity 🤷🏻‍♂️ He’s allowed to write a negative comment. He’s even allowed to be offensive. COYP Reply |

277. Author: red-star-par Date: Wed 27th Aug 2025. 13:50 coventrypar, Tue 26 Aug 23:12 I don`t think that comment from Ahoy! ahoy! was anywhere near abuse. I was actually disappointed that we let Lewis McCann go, throughout his time with us I always thought it was a matter of time before he hit a purple patch, or a manager could give him the confidence he needed to kick on, but sadly it didn`t happen for him here. Probably a combination of being played up front on his own, and being a young player in a struggling team. I think he has all the attributes to be a good player, he`s big strong, fairly quick and works hard. I always thought he could do with being a bit more aggressive, nastier. Fleetwood Town is a fairly decent move for him, hope he kicks on there, as he seems like a nice guy and a good professional Reply |

279. Author: PARrot Date: Wed 27th Aug 2025. 14:54 NMCmassive, Wed 27 Aug 13:05 As I read it, he was not referring to an individual post. The point he made was collectively it becomes a form of abuse. I may be wrong but it seems quite clear in his text. Reply |
280. Author: Indiapar1 Date: Wed 27th Aug 2025. 15:17 On Fleetwood Town website The striker follows in the sporting footsteps of his family, with older brother Ali representing Northern Ireland at senior level and younger brother Ross a Scotland rugby sevens international. With strong pedigree and hunger to make his mark in England, McCann now looks set to embark on the next chapter of his career on the Fylde Coast. Fleetwood fans can look forward to seeing a determined young striker eager to test himself in the EFL, as McCann joins a Town side looking to challenge at the top end of Sky Bet League Two this season.
