62. Author: bannerpar Date: Tue 12th Aug 2025. 11:14 Depends on how good the guy is and if he is an attacking threat. He can play left or right wing so it might be handy to tweak the formation in some games or part of games. Reply |

If he sees this lad as a better option on than say Cooper, Bray or Matty Tod then he’s surely going to take it, despite it not being part of the original plan surely. Reply |

65. Author: wee eck Date: Tue 12th Aug 2025. 11:44 I would imagine his wages at Sheffield United will be far more than what we would be able to offer. If they loan him out and we pay part of his wages does that free up a `slot` for them to sign a defender or does he have to be sold outright? Reply |
66. Author: GJS93 Date: Tue 12th Aug 2025. 11:48 sold outright apparently, will be a big hit after paying a million quid to get him in January. Post Edited (Tue 12 Aug 12:02) Reply |
67. Author: jake89 Date: Tue 12th Aug 2025. 11:48 I don`t think Sheffield can loan him. It sounds like they want rid so they can sign someone else. They can`t currently due to signing rules is my understanding. So if we get him in, will the infamous "Bulgarian Striker" appear too? Reply |
68. Author: wee eck Date: Tue 12th Aug 2025. 12:00 The main problem with recruiting from abroad at our level seems to be negotiating a work permit. At least Caceres already has one so that eliminates that issue. Having watched his `highlights reel` I would have thought there would be interest from English clubs if he became available. Reply |
69. Author: dd23 Date: Tue 12th Aug 2025. 12:47 Would his work permit not apply only to England, meaning we’d have to reapply? Reply |
70. Author: jake89 Date: Tue 12th Aug 2025. 13:14 dd23, Tue 12 Aug 12:47 Visa apps are UK level but he`d need to reapply as he`s moving employer. Same would apply if he decided to take up a job elsewhere in Sheffield rather than a move to Scotland. Reply |
71. Author: PARadise Date: Tue 12th Aug 2025. 13:31 Can`t see him playing in the attacking midfield slot when we have cooper, matty/andy, McLeod and bray all fitting in there. Looks to me like another option than Otoo on the left which is very welcome in an attacking sense. As echoed above a striker and centre half would all we`d need after that. I`m sure we`ll start to see a few move on as well. Ngwenya etc. this could be a very fun season. Reply |
72. Author: kozmasrightfoot Date: Tue 12th Aug 2025. 13:42 Imagining looking up Georgi Porgiev lol. I cant talk, I looked up the Korean winger Pu Ding Inpi. Let`s just say that he didn`t exist either. Pars fan. Magpies fan. Mens tennis fan. Alternative rock fan. Not a fan of much else. Reply |
73. Author: kozmasrightfoot Date: Tue 12th Aug 2025. 13:47 The longer the wait on a striker, the more excited I get. Lennon is clearly looking for the best he can possibly get. Ten days before our next game and the whole squad is chipping in with goals. I still see big Tod`s goal when I close my eyes, it was brilliant and I`d be amazed if it didn`t win goal of the month (or season). Pars fan. Magpies fan. Mens tennis fan. Alternative rock fan. 74. Author: jake89 Date: Tue 12th Aug 2025. 14:43 Sheffield United fans don`t seem happy but it looks like Cerceras is a LOAN to free up and extra visa spot for some other player. "Dunfermline" is actually trending on twitter 😂 Reply |
75. Author: AlterPar Date: Tue 12th Aug 2025. 14:47 This link seems to suggest it has to be a permanent deal - https://eflanalysis.com/transfers/ruben-selles-forced-to-sanction-sheffield-united-exit-despite-major-defensive-problems-for-the-blades/ Reply |
76. Author: RMGpar Date: Tue 12th Aug 2025. 14:59 Would be a perm deal as if they loaned him the same rules apply Reply |
77. Author: jake89 Date: Tue 12th Aug 2025. 15:01 RMGpar, Tue 12 Aug 14:59 That`s what I thought but lots on twitter saying loan deal. That`s just social media though so probably wrong. Sheffield Utd fans suggesting he`s not that great tbh. Not sure how accurate that is as they clearly don`t know where Dunfermline is either. Not the sharpest Blades 😂 Reply |
78. Author: RMGpar Date: Tue 12th Aug 2025. 15:08 I think he would be a class signing at this level Reply |
