Raymie, not a prolific goalscorer when he played in Scotland, but seemed to have done well with Crusaders and as a result has attracted interest in England and Scotland. He would be interested in a move back to Scotland apparently.

Tash played as trialist for Barnet at the weekend.

I think that was in their 2-2 draw with Luton where they fielded 4 trialists.

Bit worrying.

Our amazing owners should break the bank to sign Super Paul Mullen, just released by Wrexham. I know it won`t happen as he`ll end up in league 1 or 2 but it`s nice to dream.

Not really. The players went back to preseason training a little later than most other teams as we had a longer season being in the cup final. We will make it up fitness wise before the Inverness game.

Ming you Partick Thistle had a season that was just as long as ours and they are flying 🤷🏼‍♂️

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Some context from the "week behind" quote-

He says a week behind from where they were at this stage last year in terms of the number of training sessions.

The League Cup fixtures were played on the same weekends but in contrast the season before we finished on the 2nd of May, this time round it was the 23rd May.

So returned a week later but had two weeks less of a break this time round.

The Rovers have signed Anton Dowds. Some strength up top with him and Oakley.

They’ll be lucky to play 20 games between them. Better reserving a bed in the Vic now.

I would be worried about Raith if it was 2-3 years ago, Dowds and Oakley are past their best and have had injury troubles to go along with it. If they get lucky and keep them fit they`ll cause some bother, but chances are that won`t be the case.

More chance of them being fit than being able to reserve a bed in the Vic!

I do think, when fit, they will cause most defences some bother.

Dowds had a really bad injury the season before last. He got back last season and managed to play pretty much every game from Christmas onwards, including scoring against us on the 20th of December.

It`s form he needs to find, not fitness IMO.

Dougie Imrie plays boring football, none of their signings worry me at all.

Short Champions League adventure for Hearts 😊 . Do they go out of Europe all together or get a second chance in the Europa League?
